Lin Qing strengthened himself and Er Ni with the Immortal Herb relics, then set out with her to find Soul Rings. An Ash Urn revealed another Lin Qing’s rise in the White Tiger Duke Mansion, his defection to the Sun Moon Empire, and his acquisition of the Ice Empress as a Second Martial Soul.

• Lin Qing expanded Qinglin Restaurant’s ambitions and uncovered the Immortal Herb Lin Qing relic, whose recording described his imprisonment at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well and his death there.
• The system awarded Lin Qing the Truth-Seeing Profound Pupil Lotus and Lovesick Heartbreak Red essences and Soul Bones, and Lin Qing evolved his Heavenly Eye before giving Er Ni the Lovesick Heartbreak Red essence and 100,000-year Torso Bone.
• Er Ni gained Innate Full Soul Power, a Lovesick Heartbreak skill that strengthened her and Lin Qing, and abilities to protect them and weaken enemies.

• The Ice Empress sacrificed herself to White Tiger Lin Qing, giving him the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion Martial Soul, a 400,000-year Soul Ring, and a torso bone, while he questioned whether he needed to hide his power with Simulation.

Lin Qing gained the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion Martial Soul, fused its 400,000-year torso bone, and developed the Sword of Life while building his strength and traveling with Er Ni and Wu Yun. In Suotuo City, he humiliated Dai Mubai at the Rose Hotel, barred Tang San, and prepared to face Tang Hao with Wu Yun at his side.

• Lin Qing revealed his Ice Jade Empress Scorpion Martial Soul to Jing Hongchen, became his personal disciple, and gained a Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Ring and the Spirit-Slaughtering Fierce Blade, which Electrolux purified into the Blade of Life's Watch.
• Wu Yun attacked Lin Qing during the assault on Mingde Hall, but Electrolux killed and raised her as an undead puppet before Tang San appeared and killed White Tiger Lin Qing.
• Lin Qing fused with the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion and its 400,000-year torso bone, then combined the Blade of Life's Watch and Gold of Life into the Sword of Life.

Lin Qing used the Heaven and Earth Chamber of Commerce to deter Tang Hao, then built the Azure Throne Academy team and began training its new members. After absorbing the Heavenly Eye Divine Monarch’s external soul bone, he taught Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Xiao Wu his methods and put them through demanding practice.

• Wu Yun threatened to expose Tang San’s Twin Martial Souls unless Tang Hao protected the chamber’s interests, and Tang Hao left to investigate the Heaven and Earth Chamber of Commerce.
