Tang Wutong was born in the God Realm and entered Shrek Academy under the male identity of Wang Dong. As Wang Dong, she possessed the Light Goddess Butterfly martial soul and displayed the pride of someone accustomed to exceptional resources and status. Her overconfidence led her to challenge Su Qingfeng, whose Imperial Sword cut the outer edges of her butterfly wings and sent her crashing down. 20

After witnessing Su Qingfeng without his mask, she became immediately captivated by his appearance and aura. She began seeking opportunities to be near him, attempted to move into his dormitory, and openly defied Zhou Yi when the teacher spoke critically of him. 23 24 Tang Wutong later confessed to Su Qingfeng while dressed in her female identity, bringing him a heart-shaped meal and a wooden comb. He rejected her and set a condition: she would need strength surpassing the first-generation Shrek Seven Devils before speaking to him about a relationship. 27

Motivated by that rejection, she cultivated intensely and reached Soul Power Level 26 within several months.
