Yu Xiaogang accepted Tang San as his second disciple after revealing that the Eternal God was his elder brother, while Tang San hoped to use their connection to prepare for the church. Tang San reached Dorm Seven expecting Xiao Wu but found Xiao Qu in charge, and Yu Mingxiao secretly delivered a letter to Yu Xiaogang.

• Yu Xiaogang enrolled Xiao Qu as a work-study student and she defeated Wang Sheng to become Dorm Seven's boss.
• Yu Xiaogang met Tang San, explained that the Eternal Church had taken over Spirit Hall's authority, and revealed that its god was his elder brother.
• Tang San became Yu Xiaogang's second disciple, learning that Xiao Qu was his senior sister.

Tang San was forced to absorb the Datura Snake’s Soul Ring after Yu Mingxiao altered the threads of fate. During the absorption, Tang San learned that Xiao Wu’s remnant soul had merged with Yu Xiaogang’s Luo Sanpao, and he lunged toward her.

Six years after Yu Mingxiao gave Luo Sanpao life, Thunder Academy prepared its powerful team for the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament. Yu Mingxiao urged Spirit Hall Academy to train its competitors so Thunder Academy’s team would face a stronger challenge.
