Double the Cultivation

Grey Wolf watched as Feng Tianyu took two books out of his Storage Soul Tool. His eyes widened, and he exclaimed in surprise:

"This ring is incredible! It has a space of its own. How was it made? This is a whole new craft I've never mastered!"

Grey Wolf's eyes gleamed. He looked as if he couldn't wait to take the ring apart on the spot and figure out how it had been made.

That was just how a scientist's mind worked. He was consumed by an intense thirst for knowledge about anything he didn't understand or know how to do.

Feng Tianyu had already planned to have Grey Wolf develop Soul Guidance Technology, so he took the opportunity to explain:

"This kind of Storage Soul Tool is made using Soul Guidance Technology. It runs on Soul Power. At its core, arrays are engraved onto metal, allowing Soul Power to be compressed and converted into destructive force or special effects."

"Besides Storage Soul Tools, there are offensive and Defensive Soul Tools... these are the combat Soul Tools. Then there are auxiliary Soul Tools, like lighting Soul Tools and recording Soul Tools."

"Grey Wolf, since you're so interested, I'll take you to study Soul Guidance Technology systematically when I get the chance. With your astonishing intelligence, I'm sure you'll surpass everyone else and become the greatest Soul Engineer on the continent."

Grey Wolf raised his head high and gave a thumbs-up, brimming with confidence. He grinned proudly:

"Grey Wolf, this is a Self-Created Soul Skill devised by my ancestor, the Gale Demon Wolf 108-Strike Combo. Used in full, it can rival a Soul Skill from a fifty-thousand-year Soul Beast. Familiarize yourself with it for now. We'll learn it once we have a flying Soul Skill."

Grey Wolf immediately perked up at that!

After Feng Tianyu's earlier explanation, Grey Wolf already had a basic understanding of Douluo Continent.

A Soul Skill from a fifty-thousand-year Soul Beast was incredibly powerful and rare. Anyone capable of hunting one and absorbing its Soul Ring would be at least a Soul Saint.

Grey Wolf took the book and flipped through it. His eyes turned into spirals, and the pages made his head spin.

"What is all this? I don't recognize a single word!"

Feng Tianyu slapped his forehead, suddenly realizing that he and Grey Wolf could communicate without difficulty only because of the bond between host and Martial Soul.

Grey Wolf still couldn't speak or read the language of Douluo Continent.

Feng Tianyu prepared to translate it himself, but first he gave Grey Wolf a serious warning:

"Grey Wolf, I'll translate it for you this time. Once I get my First Soul Ring and enter Shrek Academy, I'll teach you the language and writing of Douluo Continent."

"There's something you absolutely must remember: never reveal to anyone that we came from another world. If someone catches us and tries to study us, we may never have a chance to return to our original world."

Grey Wolf scratched his head. In his past adventures to other worlds with the lambs, even when people found out they were from Green Green Grassland, no one had tried to capture them for research.

"Is this world really that dangerous?"

"Fine! For the sake of getting back to Green Green Grassland, and seeing my wife and son again, I'll protect our secret!"

Seeing that Grey Wolf understood how serious this was, Feng Tianyu secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The secret of their transmigration had to stay buried as deep as possible. The fewer people who knew, the safer they would be.

Feng Tianyu spent the next while translating the entire Gale Demon Wolf 108-Strike Combo for Grey Wolf.

Grey Wolf was sharp-witted and quickly figured out the trick to the technique:

Feng Tianyu rubbed his brow and opened his High-Level Meditation Method:

"I only wanted you to familiarize yourself with it for now. You'll need to be at least a Soul Elder and have a flying Soul Skill before you can learn the Gale Demon Wolf 108-Strike Combo."

Hearing this, Grey Wolf shut the book and looked at Feng Tianyu, bored. His eyes were full of curiosity as he asked:

"Then what's that book you're holding?"

Feng Tianyu waved the High-Level Meditation Method in his hand:

"This is a High-Level Meditation Method for cultivating Soul Power. Soul Power can only grow stronger through meditation..."

As he spoke, an idea struck Feng Tianyu. He looked eagerly at Grey Wolf:

"Grey Wolf, try learning to meditate too. If you can also strengthen your Soul Power through meditation, then the two of us can cultivate together and double our cultivation speed!"

Grey Wolf grinned and moved closer to Feng Tianyu, looking at the High-Level Meditation Method together with him:

Feng Tianyu took a breath, then translated the High-Level Meditation Method for Grey Wolf, one word at a time.

Grey Wolf frowned, then scratched his ears and fidgeted. Even after Feng Tianyu had finished translating the High-Level Meditation Method, the wolf's face still wore a dazed expression, as if he hadn't come back to himself.

After all, this was Grey Wolf's first time encountering a method for cultivating Soul Power. It was only natural that it would take him a little while to absorb it.

As he spoke, Grey Wolf leaped onto the bed and struck a cultivation pose. He closed his eyes, and his whiskered, gray-furred wolf face took on a strangely peaceful look.

A faint, almost imperceptible green glow spread across his body. Drawn by it, the air currents around him began to converge.

The wind-aspected energies of heaven and earth in the surrounding air swept along with the currents and poured into Grey Wolf's body.

Feng Tianyu watched, both astonished and delighted. He hooked a finger under his chin and thought:

With that thought, Feng Tianyu also leaped onto the bed, took up a cultivation pose, and tried to enter a meditative state.
