A Reunion with Gilgamesh

In the outskirts of Fuyuki, inside the kitchen of Einzbern Castle.

Illya, Airi, and Artoria were gathered around the kitchen's long table. Spread across it were all kinds of prepared fruit, along with the ingredients for making fruit daifuku.

Simply put, daifuku was a kind of filled glutinous rice cake, also known as snow mochi.

Its filling mainly consisted of fresh, seasonal fruit, while the outer layer was made by mixing sifted glutinous rice flour and cornstarch with sugar and fresh milk into a batter. It was then cooked over high heat until it set, taken out to cool, and kneaded into a soft, smooth dough.
