Outside the barrier, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck from the previously clear sky.

Dark clouds began to appear, deep gray layers gathering overhead and obscuring part of the sun.

The sunlight was no longer as bright, its color gradually turning dim and lifeless.

In mere seconds, the sky outside Hangzhou City's barrier had been blanketed by dark clouds.
