After nightfall, the town became completely deserted.
The atmosphere was unnaturally silent, and almost all the shops and residential buildings had gone dark.
The recent murder cases had truly left everyone in a state of panic.
The rain had stopped, but the clouds blanketing the sky hung low, and the air was damp and chilly.
On the pedestrian street south of town, only Sasuke and Illya strolled along.
"Everyone's scared."
"Even the convenience stores that were supposed to be open twenty-four hours have closed."
