Seeing the figure on the screen, Mordred's joy at having just defeated the black dragon plummeted to its lowest point.

Her father sat on stone steps, no longer wearing his usual regal appearance. His vicious face was caked with grime, his armor covered in bloodstains. Behind him stood buildings of exotic design and stone bricks whose blood had yet to be cleaned away.

A dense, murderous aura still lingered in his sharp eyes, clearly not yet dispersed. He had evidently just withdrawn from a fierce battle.

Although Mordred knew this was only a phantom, seeing her father in such a murderous state still stirred an inexplicable tremor within her.
