Ambitious Leon

When Jupiter led the lords and chieftains from across the continent who had submitted to Rome to meet Leon, Leon had already dealt with most of the city's affairs—winning over the commoners and nobles, suppressing the defiant, and at the very least creating an appearance of short-term stability.

Only two matters remained, and Leon could not make up his mind about them for the moment. He wanted Jupiter to advise him.

After entering the city, Jupiter handed those lords and chieftains over to Kay and Clovis, whom Leon had entrusted with important duties, then headed first to the grand palace newly built by Rome's previous Sword Emperor.
