More than two hours had passed since the two of them boarded the train.

As night fell, the scenery outside the windows gradually darkened as well.

Lin Yuan suddenly remembered something and smiled as he pulled over and opened his backpack.

"Did you bring anything good?" Liu Yifei asked curiously.

Lin Yuan took out two U-shaped pillows and inflated them as he said, "Ding-dong! Protecting your cervical spine throughout your journey."

The blue one was clearly for himself, while the red one was for Liu Yifei.

"I want the blue one. You can have the red one," the Celestial Fairy said with a smile.

"Sure. I don't mind using the red one either."

Seeing that Lin Yuan simply lay back without resisting, she immediately lost interest. She took the red U-shaped pillow, wedged it behind her neck, and slumped into her seat.

Seeing her like that, Lin Yuan smiled and pulled two bottles of soda from his backpack. "Want some Coke?"

"I want Pepsi!" Liu Yifei said, pointing at the blue bottle.

Lin Yuan shook his head. "Red and blue taste best together."

He took out a large jug, mixed the two sodas together, then poured her a cup.

That single act was enough to offend fans of both Pepsi and Coca-Cola at once.

"You heretic!"

Liu Yifei puffed out her cheeks, but she was clearly only pretending to be angry. The amusement in her eyes could not be hidden.

Lin Yuan always did unexpected things.

"Want to play a psychology quiz?" After taking a sip of the mixed soda, Liu Yifei pulled a book from her backpack.

"Sure!"

After flipping through a few pages, she found a question and read it aloud.

"During a meal, there are beef burgers, fried chicken wings, roasted turkey, and cheesy lobster on the table. On which bite would you start eating the turkey?"

Lin Yuan rolled his eyes. This question had clearly been written by an American.

"I'd choose to eat lobster until I'm full. I wouldn't take a single bite of that lousy turkey!"

"Pfft!" Liu Yifei burst out laughing and smacked Lin Yuan with her hand. "That doesn't count! Eat one bite for me."

Lin Yuan could only frown and pretend to be troubled. "Then the first bite. If I have to eat it, I might as well get the bitter part over with before the sweet."

Upon hearing his answer, the Celestial Fairy began reading the result. "You are a strong-willed person who always faces danger head-on. You strive to pursue a rich and colorful life.

"In love, you are equally unwilling to be lonely. You are the dream man of many young girls, and soothing their feelings comes effortlessly to you."

"Accurate?" Liu Yifei asked with a smile after finishing.

At that answer, alarm bells blared in Lin Yuan's head again.

"Not accurate at all. I haven't even dated anyone before. What the hell do you mean, effortlessly?" He deftly avoided the lethal strike.

"I think it's quite accurate. You really are a strong-willed person who faces difficulties head-on," the Celestial Fairy said, smiling as she pressed further.

"These psychology quizzes are always half true and half false. Why don't you answer one too?" Lin Yuan was not about to take a beating passively. He chose to launch a counterattack.

"Then ask me one too." Liu Yifei handed him the book.

Lin Yuan took it, flipped through a few pages, and began reading. "You and the member of the opposite sex closest to your heart are walking together down a dark, deserted path. How would you like to have physical contact with him?"

"Hold hands, fingers interlocked."

"Have him put an arm around your shoulders."

"Have him put an arm around your waist."

"Anything he wants, as long as he wants it."

After finishing the question, Lin Yuan asked with a grin, "Can you choose the last one?"

Liu Yifei's ears reddened as she slapped him before answering, "Wouldn't the closest member of the opposite sex be one's father? But there wouldn't be any physical contact."

Lin Yuan shook his head. "Stop playing dumb. Fathers are obviously excluded. Hurry up and pick one."

"Then I'll pick the third one. Have him put an arm around my waist," Liu Yifei answered after thinking for a moment.

"You are a principled but not rigid person. While holding fast to your bottom line, you are not constrained by your own reserve. You understand how to reward your other half without losing a sense of romance.

"You stir men's hearts and light a fire within them, yet you never seem frivolous. You are the unforgettable white moonlight in a man's heart."

The book had actually used the word "seductress," but Lin Yuan felt it was inappropriate to describe a young girl that way, so he changed it to white moonlight. To him, they meant the same thing.

"Accurate?" It was Lin Yuan's turn to ask her with a smile.

It was actually quite accurate. This book was pretty interesting.

But Lin Yuan did not want her to say it was accurate, or he would have to face that evaluation of himself:

"In love, you are equally unwilling to be lonely. You are the dream man of many young girls, and soothing their feelings comes effortlessly to you."

"Just so-so. These psychology quizzes are always half true and half false," Liu Yifei repeated what Lin Yuan had said earlier.

Maybe she was too shy to admit that she knew how to tease without losing her sense of romance, or maybe she simply did not want to keep pressing Lin Yuan about it.

Lin Yuan closed the book and handed it back to Liu Yifei. One or two of these psychology quizzes were enough.

The answers themselves were not important. The point was to test each other and confirm certain thoughts. This time, the mission had been accomplished.

Liu Yifei stuffed the book back into her bag and said, "There's a girl over there who's been staring at you since earlier."

Lin Yuan followed Liu Yifei's gaze and found that there really was a blonde girl in the soft-seat section ahead, constantly looking him over.

She was very pretty, with bright eyes, delicate features, and blonde hair. She looked like an exquisite doll.

After noticing Lin Yuan looking at her, she did not avoid his gaze. Instead, she continued smiling boldly and looking straight at him.

Lin Yuan was certain that he did not know this girl.

He had no idea why she was staring at him, but a few glances would not hurt him, so he did not think much of it.

"You really are an arsonist of young girls' hearts. You can even charm girls too," Liu Yifei teased with a smile.

"What's strange about that? Isn't someone else also a young girl?"

Liu Yifei smacked him again. "Don't change the subject. Do you know her?"

Lin Yuan shook his head. "No. I've never seen her before."

Although he said that, Lin Yuan felt that the girl looked somewhat familiar, as if he had seen her somewhere before.

"Then forget about her. Want to listen to music?" Liu Yifei took out a silver Sony Walkman and handed one earbud to Lin Yuan.

Listen? How could he possibly refuse?

Even if it were Fat Tiger's songs, Lin Yuan would have taken it without hesitation and put it in his ear.

Worried that they might accidentally tug the earphone cord loose, the two of them naturally moved a little closer together.

Seeing Liu Yifei like this, Lin Yuan suddenly recalled a market research result from the future: when earphone cords were made very long, sales to couples would decline.

It really made sense. It was not baseless.

No wind could compare to the "tornado" now reaching Lin Yuan's ears.
