A sudden, urgent, and familiar shout rang out!

"Shadow! Hurry up and keep up! Don't fall behind!"

Qin Chuan's eyes widened. He whipped around to look toward the sound!

At the edge of the lush forest, a gray figure strolled out.

Pointed ears, a round head, gray fur, and a yellow scarf around his neck—a wolf walking upright?

A scene he'd known all his life had just appeared before him!

"Grey Wolf!" Qin Chuan's mind exploded. He could forget his own name and still never forget that familiar wolf. And right behind the shock came a wave of overwhelming joy that swept through his entire body!

He'd thought he might end up in some perilous, unknown world, and had felt a little worried about his plans for planting the Dao Seed.

But he'd never dreamed he'd cross over into this world!

"I know this world inside and out. More importantly, it might seem like a low-martial world, but it's a comedy world, full of countless heaven-defying, BUG-level items!" Qin Chuan thought.

Among all the worlds he knew, this one was certainly near the top in potential—and among the worlds where he most wanted to plant the Dao Seed.

"The Wish Bottle that can change the world at will, the Time Machine that travels through time, powerful gadgets that control the weather, fruit trees that grant incredible abilities..."

There were countless heaven-defying treasures, with potential that had no ceiling!

With this world's rules and the endless gadgets belonging to its wolves and goats, his resources would grow at a terrifying pace. What would be so difficult about traversing the heavens and standing invincible on his path?

Just thinking about it made Qin Chuan nearly drool.

And most importantly!

Once he earned the approval and favor of the little goats and Grey Wolf's main cast, the Dao Seed would refine this world as naturally as going with the flow.

And besides, if they were on good terms, then later, if the little goats or Grey Wolf came up with some new invention, Qin Chuan could go ask for one. How could they say no?

A sacred, majestic aura swept through the entire forest!

At that moment, Qin Chuan was surrounded by streaks of golden light conjured from his spiritual power. He looked like a supreme deity walking among mortals, his vast might shaking all around him!

He raised his foot. Every step made the earth tremble, while the air rumbled. With his full aura released, he strode straight in front of Grey Wolf.

The sudden, terrifying gaze locked onto Grey Wolf. His fur instantly bristled, his legs gave way, and he stared at the dazzling divine light before him in sheer terror.

"Great-great-great-great-grandfather, please! I've never forgotten to bring you offerings every year on Qingming Festival! Please don't come after me!"

Grey Wolf dropped to his knees without a shred of backbone.

Watching him from within the divine light, Qin Chuan's mouth twitched. Uncle Wolf in Season One had no idea what backbone even was.

With the solemn majesty of a deity looking down upon all living things, he spoke slowly. "Grey Wolf, I am the newly appointed guardian deity of this world."

"From this moment on, there will be no more wars between species on the grassland. Release every little goat you've captured, and the old goat as well... and I'll let bygones be bygones."

It was only a few simple sentences, with no unnecessary words, yet they made Grey Wolf's heart tremble.

Grey Wolf was utterly stunned.

Divine light protecting him, an overwhelming aura, and a claim to be the newly appointed deity of the world!

Such power and majesty were beyond anything an ordinary expert could possess!

"What kind of scam artist is this? Aside from that fat elf, where's there any deity on this grassland? This has to be the other little goats' trick. I'll show them how Grey Wolf the Great takes them by surprise!"

Grey Wolf's mind raced. His mouth curled into a grin as he made up his mind—to pretend to surrender, then seize the chance to counterattack!

He immediately dropped his arrogance and scheming, let his ears droop, and put on an extremely meek, frightened expression as he nodded repeatedly.

"Yes, yes, yes! Your Divinity! I, Grey Wolf the Great... was blind to your greatness. I'd never dare offend you! I'll obey right away and release the little goats at once!"

As he humbly begged for mercy and played along, Grey Wolf pretended to tremble with fear while quietly shuffling backward, inch by inch, to put more distance between himself and Qin Chuan.

A few seconds later, Grey Wolf had retreated beyond what he considered the danger zone. The fear and respect vanished from his face in an instant!

In their place came a sly, wild laugh!

"Hahaha! Damn little goats, you actually dared to pretend to be a deity and fool me?"

"Have you even asked around the grassland? I, Grey Wolf the Great, have been roaming Green Green Grassland for years! What grand spectacle haven't I seen?"

"You think a few flashy tricks can make me, the Great, bend to your will? Dream on!"

Grey Wolf spread his arms and shouted with confidence, "Shadow Wolf! Get him! Beat him up good! Knock this fraud, this faker, flat on his back!"
