But that still wasn't enough for Li Pu. His target was Shrek Academy, and how could simply punishing them and shutting down the academy possibly be enough?
He set out for Suotuo City in the Balak Kingdom to strike them with thunderous force.
His definite target left Qian Renxue puzzled.
Li Pu told her openly, "That academy is different. I'd heard of it before I died. They use Spirit Hall's name to swagger around and swindle people. I heard they'd cheated quite a few gifted commoner children."
Qian Renxue was very confused. "Do you really need to go there yourself? You could just send someone."
Li Pu smiled. "If it were any other academy, I wouldn't go. That one is different."
Qian Renxue really didn't understand. "What makes it different?"
"You wouldn't understand even if I told you. It's a real pain to explain," Li Pu said.
Even if he told them the whole story, they wouldn't believe him.
He knew the plot, so he was going after them specifically. And the reason he was going in person was to feel like he was part of it. What fun was there in just sending someone else?
Qian Renxue didn't ask any more. Even if he really did explain, she wouldn't understand.
Nor did she expect Li Pu to cooperate with her all the time. He had to have things of his own to do.
So Li Pu set out with Guang Ling. Whenever there was something fun to do, Guang Ling was only too happy to tag along.
Several days later, the two arrived in the Balak Kingdom. In a village on the outskirts of Suotuo City, they found the legendary Shrek Academy.
At this point in time, Shrek Academy had only been open for a little over ten years.
