A Triumphant First Battle

With the appearance of the Double Tomoe Sharingan, Sun Yu had completely regained his senses. He reached into his clothes, took out a Senzu Bean he'd prepared earlier, then popped it into his mouth and crunched it down.

A tremendous vitality flowed through Sun Yu's entire body. He felt as though he'd been reborn in an instant. Since he'd come back from what had been practically a state of death, the moment his strength returned, the energy within him surged several times over!

That was the Saiyans' heaven-defying constitution: the more severely they were injured, the stronger they became. When they hovered near death, their battle power would multiply after they were revived!

"Raaahhh..."

Beneath the sea, Sun Yu unleashed his full power. As his aura rose, the entire ocean churned. The sea for hundreds of miles around swelled into waves despite the lack of wind, crashing against the rocks.

"Boom!"

Sun Yu shot up from the ocean floor, sending enormous columns of water surging around him. He emerged directly between Android 19 and Dr. Briefs's plane.

"Big Brother Sun Yu!" Seeing Sun Yu reappear, Bulma immediately stopped crying and ran to the window, shouting.

As if sensing her, Sun Yu turned and spotted little Bulma leaning out the window. He flashed what he thought was a dazzlingly handsome smile, then raised his left hand and gave her a thumbs-up.

When Dr. Briefs saw Sun Yu reappear, his tense expression finally eased. Sun Yu was still the same person, but the aura surrounding him was completely different now. Even an ordinary man like Dr. Briefs could sense the astonishing presence Sun Yu exuded.

The battle had reached a point where ordinary people couldn't interfere, so Dr. Briefs made a snap decision and ordered all the combat units to withdraw at once. They would watch the battle from a safe distance.

Android 19 watched Sun Yu with interest. Sun Yu's life or death didn't matter to him; what mattered was that he could sense the energy he craved filling Sun Yu's body once more!

"So much energy! Hurry, come over here and let me absorb it!" Android 19 stared greedily at Sun Yu, even sticking out his tongue to lick his dry lips.

Sun Yu only smiled in reply. In the blink of an eye, he struck first. Android 19's eyes narrowed; he hadn't even seen Sun Yu move. He only felt a rush of wind hit him. By the time he could see where Sun Yu was again, Sun Yu's fist had already slammed into his abdomen.

"Thud!"

With a muffled impact, Android 19's back bulged high from Sun Yu's punch. He couldn't believe his body, made of superalloy, had failed to withstand Sun Yu's flesh-and-blood fist!

And Sun Yu wasn't finished. He grabbed Android 19 by his fluffy hair and yanked down hard, driving his right knee upward at the same time. With a sharp crack, Android 19's cheekbone caved in. Added to the half of his head that had already been crushed, he was barely recognizable as human.

Android 19 couldn't feel pain, but Sun Yu's brutal assault enraged him. He opened his mouth to fire a deep-blue energy wave, his whole body swelling as wisps of smoke rose from him.

Boom, boom, boom...

Android 19 fired energy blasts wildly from his mouth, each one setting off an explosion. Sun Yu's Double Tomoe Sharingan snapped open, taking in everything around him. After evolving from the Single Tomoe Sharingan, his eye techniques had become much easier to use. To Sun Yu, Android 19's frenzied barrage of energy blasts was as slow as a snail, so dodging them took no effort at all.

In an instant, Sun Yu darted around and evaded every energy blast. He hovered in midair with his hands on his hips, calmly watching Android 19 search for him below.

The people watching the battle from afar cheered excitedly. It was obvious by now that Sun Yu had completely taken the upper hand. It was only a matter of time before he defeated that detestable android.

"Hey, what are you looking for?"

At Sun Yu's call, Android 19 finally spotted him. He cursed under his breath, then charged at Sun Yu at full speed and thrust out his hand, trying to absorb his energy.

But there was no way Sun Yu would let him have his way. Under the Sharingan's keen vision, Android 19's attacks were full of openings, and Sun Yu dodged them with ease.

"Even after absorbing my energy, you only have a battle power of twenty thousand. But that power isn't something you cultivated yourself, so you can't bring out its full potential. All you can do is throw out attacks without any form. What a disappointment!" Sun Yu looked at Android 19 with dismay. He'd already lost the desire to fight him.

Hearing Sun Yu's words, Android 19 gave a strange smile and said coldly, "What, feeling pleased with yourself? I'm nothing but a failed prototype. You'll experience the terror of the androids someday!"

The terror of the androids? The corner of Sun Yu's mouth curled upward. "I don't know whether androids are scary or not, but you can experience the terror of us Saiyans right now!"

With that, Sun Yu reached out with both hands and seized Android 19's wrists, one in each hand. Then he leaped up, braced both feet against Android 19's chest, and heaved, intending to rip off his arms!

"Damn it! What are you doing? Stop! Stop right now!"

Though Android 19 couldn't feel pain, he had been given emotions that mimicked those of a human. As he watched Sun Yu about to tear off his arms, he felt an emotion called fear rise within him.

"Crack! Crack!"

With two sharp snaps, Sun Yu ripped both of Android 19's arms off. Oil gushed from the broken ends, and Android 19 staggered backward, despair written across his eyes.

"Without the energy-absorption devices in your hands, let's see how you absorb my Kamehameha!"

Sun Yu silently gathered his ki and brought his hands together in front of his chest.

"Ka... me... ha... me..."

As the Kamehameha charged, the energy sphere in Sun Yu's hands blazed with terrifying light. His battle power had soared, and the Kamehameha's power was rising rapidly along with it.

28,000...35,000...39,000...40,000!...48,000!

Because Sun Yu's battle power was around 20,000 at that moment, a fully charged Kamehameha doubled it. The deep-blue energy sphere, carrying its immense battle power, streaked toward Android 19 with a long tail of light. With both arms gone, Android 19 wobbled through the air, but it didn't take long for the blast to catch up with him.

"Rumble!" "Aah..."

Sun Yu's Kamehameha exploded high in the air. Without the energy-absorption devices in his hands, Android 19 let out a scream in the terrifying blast and was reduced to ashes.
