Li opened his eyes and slowly nodded. If Timaria had spoken a moment later, the magic array would probably have drained him dry of mental energy. He shook his head hard. "I didn't expect this so-called Behemoth Dynasty to have some real tricks up its sleeve. The magic array around here alone probably cost nearly ten years of the Southern Pact Alliance's fiscal revenue."
Timaria was stunned by Li's words. Naturally, she had not sensed the massive magic array, but from Li's description, she could imagine what ten years of the Southern Pact Alliance's fiscal revenue meant.
Li slowly let out a sigh. He did not dare waste any more time and immediately began inspecting the surrounding terrain.
