After unleashing that move, the Gaia Giant Serpent's face immediately turned deathly pale. With a thud, he collapsed onto the ground. Staring at Li's fading afterimage, he felt an inexplicable sense of despair.
Just as he fell, Li appeared beside him at incredible speed. Li showed no mercy, grabbing the Gaia Giant Serpent by the throat. A cold smile curled across Li's lips before he lifted the Gaia Giant Serpent straight into the air. Li was using tremendous force; the Gaia Giant Serpent could not even hold onto his weapon. With a clang, it fell to the ground. Despair flashed through his eyes. He wanted to pry open the hand gripping his throat, but how could his strength possibly compare to Li's?
"Back when you were in your goblin form, you could reflect my physical attacks. In your giant serpent form, you looked utterly unstoppable. But now, in your human form, you're really weak as hell..." Li spoke softly. "That's right. Although your giant serpent form and human form are roughly on the same level of strength, at their core, humans really are incredibly fragile creatures. You really are far too weak."
A cold smile appeared on Li's lips. "Don't worry, I won't kill you. I have a better way to deal with someone like you..."
"What? Do you think there's any torment more painful than being imprisoned here for the rest of my life?" The Gaia Giant Serpent laughed madly. "Come on, let me see it! Do you know? I possess inherited memories. I know the glorious history of our entire race in this world. It is precisely because I know of that glorious history that I feel even more miserable now. I! A Gaia Giant Serpent, actually imprisoned here! I refuse to accept this!"
