"Li! Li! Where are you?" A trace of panic surged into Azshara's heart. Without realizing it, she had come to see Li as her shield. Though she had once been the queen of the elves, the loneliness of more than four hundred years had thoroughly eaten away at her heart. She often wondered whether she might have been far happier if, back then, she had not chosen to turn her kin into dark elves, but had instead fought alongside them until the very end.

That loneliness had only vanished after Li appeared. He was powerful, unfathomable, and never demanded anything from her. This made Azshara increasingly dependent on him. In fact, among this entire group, Li was the only one she regarded as a companion. That was why, the instant Li entered the barrier, she followed him in. Even if this place was an endless hell, she would stay with Li, because she felt that he was her only salvation.

"Li, where exactly are you?" she cried out again, unable to stop herself. But Azshara suddenly shuddered. There was no sound. That was right—she had not made any sound at all. It was as though the cry she had just sent out had sunk into the boundless darkness, and everything... had vanished.
