Uchiha Fugaku watched from the side with envy, while Uchiha Mikoto gazed at Li with adoration. Had she not been mindful of Uchiha Hao nearby, she would have cheered aloud. Even so, Uchiha Mikoto's face flushed a deep red, a sight that left Uchiha Fuqiu, standing to the side, feeling quite bitter.

Scanning the list of Kekkei Genkai, only the common ones lacked prerequisites, while the entire Sharingan line had them. For instance, the prerequisite for the Two-Tomoe Sharingan was the One-Tomoe Sharingan. This gave Li a headache; the system had truly cut off any path to instant success.

Having just completed a mission, Li's current balance was 100 points. He checked the price of the One-Tomoe Sharingan, which was exactly 100 points. Yet, Li couldn't bring himself to be happy. The exchange price for the Sharingan increased tenfold at each stage: 100 for One-Tomoe, 1,000 for Two-Tomoe, 10,000 for Three-Tomoe, 100,000 for Mangekyo Sharingan, and so on.

Before Li could process this, his mind swelled with pain, and his eyes felt a sharp, stinging sensation. Li immediately closed his eyes, clutching his temples tightly to buffer the throbbing.

After a long while, the pain subsided. Li knew the Sharingan had been awakened. He opened his eyes slightly; his originally black pupils had been replaced by a vivid scarlet. In the upper-left corner of the pupil, a single tomoe rested quietly.

Having completed the exchange, Li hurried out of the system space. He found a mirror in his room and began to admire his Sharingan. Looking at the beautiful tomoe pupil, Li revealed a smile. When it came down to it, this was the foundation for his survival in this world.

"So this is the Sharingan? Truly impressive!" Li set the mirror down and looked out the window. He could clearly see the trajectory of the wings of birds flapping in the distance. Seeing this, Li smiled from the heart. With the Sharingan, he finally had the capital to pursue the path of the strong.

Knock! Knock!

"Brother Li, Uncle Hao is calling you for dinner!"

At that moment, a knock sounded at the door, and Uchiha Mikoto's voice drifted in. Hearing this, Li's Sharingan vanished, his pupils returning to black.
