What were Titans? As Li understood them from mythology, the Titans were the second generation of gods in Greek mythology, the predecessors of the Olympian gods, who formed the main body of the Greek pantheon.
In World of Warcraft, Titans were a group of powerful beings with nothing better to do after eating their fill. They called themselves the defenders of the entire multiverse, determined to destroy every unbalanced world and make them balanced...
In truth, they were just a bunch of idiots overflowing with righteousness. When they came to Eorzea, they wiped out or sealed away all the gods of that world, then built this and created that. Once they were satisfied, they patted their asses and ran off to wreak havoc elsewhere.
They left behind only one Titan named Sargeras to guard against the demons intending to corrupt the various universes. In the end, Malfurion blew up the Well of Magic, destroying Sargeras's physical body on that plane.
Li rubbed his forehead. Just what level of existence was Sargeras? A Sage? Yet his physical body could be destroyed. Still, beings of their level apparently could travel between universes. At the very least, he had to be a Lesser Sage, right? Or perhaps on the level of the Twelve Ancestral Witches?
Why would a powerful being of that level be drawn to a world formed within his spiritual world? No, no, it was not that simple. The situation was far from simple. Sargeras
