Great Dao Wonder

"Roar!"

The Venerable-tier Crystal Beast roared in fury and struggled with all its might. The power it unleashed caused this vast valley, stretching for thousands of miles, to continuously fracture. Crisscrossing fissures covered the earth, and beneath those shattered gaps lay layer upon layer of crystal jade.

Power continuously surged forth from that crystal jade and was mobilized by the Venerable-tier Crystal Beast, only to be suppressed wave after wave by Heavenless Honored One, Chen Mu, and the others, shattering in broad swathes.

Thus,

After battling for a short while, the Crystal Beast finally let out a subdued roar, and its enormous body crashed to the ground.

"This fellow had the advantage of the terrain. Dealing with it was indeed a little troublesome."

Seeing this, Heavenless Honored One immediately withdrew his hand and smiled at the others.

Under normal circumstances, a single Great Dao Honored One could kill a Venerable-tier Aberrant Beast alone with only a bit of effort. However, this Venerable-tier Aberrant Beast had occupied favorable terrain and could draw upon the nearby Primal Chaos Power for reinforcement. It had endured the joint assault of their eight Great Dao Honored Ones for some time before they finally killed it.

"It took some effort, but we gained something in the end."

Beast God Honored One nodded slightly, then stepped forward. In an instant, he arrived beside the Crystal Beast's corpse, crouched down, and carefully examined its condition.

Though Venerable-tier Aberrant Beasts were called "beasts," they were essentially Primal Chaos lifeforms. Their bodies were not truly flesh and blood either. Once they died and the will within them dispersed, the corpses they left behind were, in a sense, Wonders.

Whoosh.

Chen Mu's gaze stirred slightly, and he too stepped forward, arriving at one side of the Crystal Beast.
