Background

Qian Renxue awakened the Six-Winged Angel martial soul on Awakening Day and was immediately named Martial Soul Hall’s new-generation Saintess. Despite this recognition, she spent the day waiting outside the Pope Palace for Bibi Dong, whom she was not permitted to call “mother.” 1

Ying Chengfeng exploited her desire for maternal affection to bring her into his Dream Space. There, he created a convincing version of Bibi Dong who treated Qian Renxue tenderly. Qian Renxue remained in the dream for roughly ten years while only nine years passed outside; she did not physically age, but matured mentally and learned to value herself rather than depend on maternal affection. 1 2

After returning to reality, Qian Renxue escaped Martial Soul Hall with Ying Chengfeng while disguising herself. Seeing Qian Renshuang depart for the Holy Land stirred envy—not over her identity, but over the happiness and motherly love Qian Renxue believed her sister possessed. 2 3

In Star Dou Forest, she acquired her first two soul rings and became a Level 30 Soul Grand Master. She and Ying Chengfeng then travelled through Suotuo City and Nuoding City, where she assisted him in ambushing Yu Xiaogang and intervened when Yu Xiaogang bit him. 3 4 5

Appearance

Qian Renxue is a golden-haired girl with fair skin, a small mouth, and a pert nose. She was initially seen in luxurious golden clothing during her martial-soul awakening; while travelling incognito, she concealed her recognizable hair with a headscarf or cloak. 1 3 4

She is observant and intelligent, quickly following Ying Chengfeng’s reasoning about martial-soul development and recognizing when situations require concealment. She also displays fierce initiative in a fight, as shown when she attacked Yu Xiaogang to protect Ying Chengfeng. 4 5

Her attachment to Ying Chengfeng becomes increasingly personal. She asks him to define their relationship, worries that he may no longer need her, and reacts with open hostility when Shui Bing’er claims to be stronger than her or attempts to remain near him. 21 22 23
