Tang San learned of a divine inheritance and led the Shrek group to set out for Sea-Calming City. On Asura Island, Dai Zhuqing and the others discovered their first Asura trials required hunting Sea Soul Beasts, a task Bo Saixi said would prevent them from being accepted by the Sea God's line.

• Tang Xiao welcomed Tang San into the Tang Clan Inner Sect after teaching him the Six Edges as One technique.

• Bo Saixi explained that Dai Zhuqing’s trial had cleared sea soul beasts from within three thousand li of Asura Island and led the group to the Blood Abyss.
• Fu Lanya and Zhao Youji joined the group and encouraged their students before Dai Zhuqing used the ship’s divine pattern to sail away.

The Emerald Dragon King defended her choice as hope for their eventual redemption, while Qian Xunji questioned whether their repeated deaths amounted to endless torment.

• The Emerald Dragon King recognized Huang Tian and revealed that the Mountain Dragon King’s skeleton lay among the floating islands rather than having become the land.
• The Emerald Dragon King objected to Qian Xunji’s angelic aura and Oath of the Angel, and Qian Xunji explained that the Angel God had become the Angel God King.

The Emerald Dragon King burned away her soul to leave Huang Tian a scale and a path forward, though she could not live to witness the new Dragon God's rise.

• Qian Xunji told the Emerald Dragon King that Huang Tian could become the Dragon God by killing the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King and combining their origins.

• The Emerald Dragon King's wing bones merged into little Huang Tian, and its azure scale entered her chest, triggering a burst of chaotic spacetime that formed a giant emerald egg.
• Qian Xunji felt the egg's heartbeat and promised that little Huang Tian would not be disappointed.
• Qian San confirmed that everyone had completed the hundred-year soul beast requirement, leaving only the thousand-year and ten-thousand-year targets.

As she guided them through the city and explained its origins and structure, Xiao Wu realized Sea Spirit had seen through her identity, though the Tide Warden showed no hostility.

• Tang San regained hope that earning the Sea God's favor might help him remove his humiliating ten-year soul rings.
• After two hours of sailing with the aid of sea creatures, the Shrek group reached Sea God City, a floating city assembled from ships and platforms.
• Sea Spirit introduced herself as a Tide Warden, welcomed the group as guests recognized by the sea clans, and said the High Priest was waiting.

Sea Spirit guided Tang San and the Shrek group through Sea God City, revealing its human–Soul Beast community and the Myriad Spirits Sea Hall beneath the city. They met the High Priest, Myriad Tides Douluo Hai Saidong, who welcomed them.

• Sea Spirit showed the group the seven Sea-Calming Divine Ships, each guarded by a Title Douluo, and explained that humans and sea Soul Beasts lived together in Sea God City.
• Sea Spirit brought them to the Myriad Tides Sea Eye and described the Tide-Call Platform and the mysterious Myriad Tides Ravine.

• Yu Xiaogang was ignored by the blue-gold light, lost his Soul Power and soul ring, and struggled out of the vortex.
• Tang San’s Soul Power and Blue Silver Grass were stripped away, but he realized his physical strength and spiritual power remained and vowed revenge against the Sea God.

• Zhao Youji and Fu Lanya explained that Luo Ren could turn a sea red with blood-activated spores, making the requirement to capture him alive especially difficult.
• Dai Zhuqing and Qian San insisted that the students handle the mission themselves, and the Blood Abyss sailed toward the Red Tide Sea.
