Though his heart was filled with endless emotions, Sanra showed none of it on his face. He chatted and laughed with Bolvar, and their conversation gradually shifted to what they would do after the Scourge was destroyed.
"If the Scourge is completely wiped out and I'm still alive, then I... I think I should find somewhere quiet and live out the rest of my life," Bolvar said hesitantly.
"Where would you want to go?" Sanra raised an eyebrow as he looked at the dispirited Bolvar.
"Probably Kul Tiras or Theramore! I'd like to find a lively place by the sea. Taelia has written to me many times about the beauty of Theramore and Boralus." A rare smile appeared on Bolvar's face.
"Taelia..." Sanra blinked at the name Bolvar had suddenly mentioned.
"Oh, my daughter. She's twelve this year, and she can wield a sword now." Seeing Sanra's confusion, Bolvar hurriedly introduced her, his tone carrying a trace of pride.
"That's impressive." Seeing Bolvar showing off his daughter, Sanra promptly gave him a thumbs-up, making the proud father beam.
"Actually, she's still young. I planned to have her follow my aunt and become a glorious paladin, but she isn't very interested in the Holy Light. Instead, she likes warhammers, blades, and swords. You wouldn't believe the first time she..." As Bolvar spoke of his daughter, he could not help growing animated.
"You really love your daughter," Sanra said with a smile as he watched Bolvar's expressive face.
"Of course. She is the continuation of my life and will." Though Sanra had abruptly interrupted him, Bolvar was not angry. Instead, he gently reminisced about his time with his precious daughter.
"Then for her sake, make sure you survive this war!" Sanra looked at the gentle father, his gaze shifting slightly.
"...Of course.
