Green Dragonflight's Li Cuisi and Altairus took the lead, Siamat held the center, and Zul'ra Jin brought up the rear. By the time he reached the Throne of the Four Winds, it had already been opened.

Li Cuisi and Altairus, acting as the vanguard, promptly called out the other three members of the Conclave of Wind—the three lieutenants beneath Al'Akir on the Throne of the Four Winds: Anshal, Lord of the West Wind; Rohash, Lord of the East Wind; and Nezir, Lord of the North Wind.

Zul'ra Jin's original plan had been for Li Cuisi and Altairus to lure the elemental lords or Al'Akir out of the Throne of the Four Winds and lead them to the already prepared summit of the Whirling Clouds, where everyone could join forces to surround and attack them. But the three wind elemental lords came out far too quickly.

Like Siamat and most elementals, the three wind elemental lords had humanoid upper bodies formed from violet-black currents of air, while their lower halves were concealed within rings of whirlwind. Feathers adorned their turbans, crude armor made up their bodies, and each held a scimitar. They charged out at incredible speed, utterly ignoring Altairus's pleas for mercy as they besieged him and Li Cuisi.

Li Cuisi's dragon body possessed formidable resistance, and Kirygosa's arcane protection still covered her. She forcefully endured a round of slashes from wind elements and scimitars, while Siamat, who had arrived behind them, also joined the battle.

Just as he had previously tried to kill Altairus, Siamat concealed himself in the wind and struck with his blade. A single sneak attack killed Anshal, who excelled at healing and poisoning.
