Zul'ra had wanted to finish his opponent for good, and he had succeeded. The dragon's skull had been pierced through, then split apart by his sword-light. The Twilight Dragon was dead beyond doubt. Yet no blood or foreign matter splattered from the severed dragon brain. Instead, countless fleshy tentacles sprouted from within and rapidly reached toward him.
Caught off guard, Zul'ra was seized by the fleshy tentacles extending from the Twilight Dragon's body. Their greasy touch coiled around him, sending a chill down his spine. He opened his mouth to call for help, but when he turned his head, he saw only Nozdormu in humanoid form standing some distance away, the golden light in his eyes turning blue-black.
