"The Hyuga clan. I thought you didn't care at all." Shiro lightly rubbed the invitation Shikaki had sent over, a strange glint flashing through his eyes.
Shiro had long expected the Hyuga clan to come looking for him. He just hadn't thought it would be this soon. But this also meant Neji's talent was very likely even stronger than in the original work!
Otherwise, Hiashi would not have come to him now. By Shiro's estimate, he should at least have waited until Hinata's soft, timid personality had fully revealed itself before coming to find him.
"Ayue, I have something to handle back in the village. Keep an eye on things here for now."

After saying that, Shiro opened a portal and returned home.
"Naruto, come out with me for a bit."
"Uh, can I not go?" Naruto said with a frown, holding a fruit platter.

As Shiro changed his own clothes, he scolded Naruto without even looking back, and tossed him a set of clothes while he was at it.
"Hmph~ You just know how to trick me every day. My mom says I'm super handsome!" Naruto glanced at the clothes Shiro had thrown over and frowned. "Why is it a combat outfit? Shouldn't it be formalwear?"
