Since Drew could produce another bottle of perfect-quality Healing Potion, Pastor John had become numb and no longer stopped Drew from using the perfect Healing Potion for experiments.

Nelson Eddie no longer hesitated; he took the potion from Pastor John, uncorked it, and downed a small gulp. He then said to Pastor John, "Pastor John, if anything goes wrong, please make sure to protect me."

"Rest assured, I have experience," Pastor John replied.

After a moment, Drew asked, "How is it? Can you feel the magic of the potion? How do you feel? Are you able to withstand it?"

"I feel a warmth in my body, a sensation I can't quite describe flowing through me. There are no abnormal feelings for now," Nelson Eddie replied, sensing his body's condition.

"Alright, let's continue to observe for a while. Pastor John, be ready at all times," Drew said, feeling uneasy.

"It's fine. I've encountered several commoners who accidentally ingested Healing Potion, and they all felt the magical conflict immediately. Since Nelson Eddie hasn't felt any magical conflict yet, the experiment should be a success," Pastor John said with experience.

"Let's wait a bit longer. After all, it's a perfect potion, and there's no precedent," Drew said cautiously, activating his Scanning System to observe Nelson Eddie.

Just then, Nelson Eddie suddenly clutched his stomach and let out a pained cry. Seeing this, Pastor John immediately cast a prepared Healing Spell on him.

It happened so fast that Drew's warning was still stuck in his throat. As the Healing Spell took effect, golden light erupted from Nelson Eddie—the manifestation of Holy Light.

Gradually, the Holy Light faded into Nelson Eddie's body. He stood up, and the look of pain vanished.

"How do you feel?" Pastor John asked with concern.

"I feel much better," Nelson Eddie replied.

"Why did you suddenly feel unwell just now? It didn't seem like you couldn't withstand the magic of the Healing Potion," Drew questioned.

"It was fine at first, no discomfort, but then I suddenly felt a cramping pain in my stomach," Nelson Eddie answered, puzzled.

"I don't think it was an inability to handle the magic. Based on my observations, it looks like a poisoning effect. How about we try again? Don't worry, there won't be any issues. Didn't a single Healing Spell solve everything just now?" Drew persuaded.

"This time, Pastor John, don't be in a rush to heal him. There won't be any problems, and even if there are, there will be plenty of time," Drew added, turning to Pastor John.

"Understood, I will be careful with the timing. After further observation, Drew concluded that it was indeed a poisoning effect.

Drew then took out an Antidote Potion and handed it to Nelson Eddie. Don't ask why Drew would have an Antidote Potion prepared; it was part of his standard kit.

The excellent-quality Antidote Potion had an immediate effect.

It worked even better and faster than Pastor John's Healing Spell; in an instant, Nelson Eddie could no longer feel the pain in his stomach.

Seeing that Nelson Eddie had no adverse reactions, Pastor John dispersed the Divine Healing Spell in his hand.

It is like this: may I ask if you could lend me that unfinished Cure Potion?

I promise to return it to you when the time comes," Pastor John said sheepishly.

"No problem, this Healing Potion is yours to keep," Drew said, handing the Healing Potion to Pastor John without a second thought.

After all, Drew could still produce perfect potions, and being able to sell a favor to gain the goodwill of a precious intermediate priest was well worth it.
