I said yesterday that I'd post extra chapters, and today I received another generous donation. Thank you so much.
It seems many of you would like me to post extra chapters, but during a new book's launch period, I can't just add updates whenever I want. There are two options, which I'll explain below. After that, I'll set up a poll. Please leave a comment, and I'll check the poll results at six tonight.
The first option is to stick with what I said: I'll post one extra chapter today, in the evening. The poll is at the end.
With this option, my new book will follow its regular update schedule during the launch period and should go on sale the Friday after next. You'll get to read more chapters for free, and I'll get to take it easy a little longer while keeping up two updates a day.
The second option is for me to post at least five extra chapters after midnight this Sunday, and take a shot at the Click Rankings.
That would let me reach the required word count and put the book on sale next Friday. I'd then start a reward campaign, which should let me get to three updates a day.
The Click Rankings bring in a lot of traffic—no less than a recommendation—so I'm willing to post extra chapters and launch early. Otherwise, I'd have one fewer recommendation than other authors before my book goes on sale.
