Qingcheng led Konoha’s forces toward Amegakure and prepared to surround the village with the Four Red Yang Formation. After the Flying Thunder God Squad reported that Namiashi Raidō had defeated a group of Amegakure ninja, Qingcheng entered Sage Mode and summoned Wood Clones.

• Qingcheng led the Konoha Ninja to a forest near Amegakure and waited for the Flying Thunder God Squad to place its formulas.
• Shouhon Yihan, Senju Taoyuan, Kumo-ma, Hayakumo Sōma, and Tsunade prepared for the battle against Akatsuki and Uzumaki Nagato.

Konoha’s forces overwhelmed the Akatsuki members, driving Deidara to use his C0 self-destruction and forcing Uchiha Obito to escape with Izanagi. Raimon then headed to join the fight against Uchiha Itachi while Senju Taoyuan began searching for Obito.

• Deidara’s bombs failed against Raimon’s Lightning Armor, so he fled on his Clay Bird while Konoha’s ANBU pursued him.
• Raimon’s Lightning Spear split Deidara’s Clay Bird and severed one of his arms, prompting Deidara to activate C0 Self-Destruction.
• Raimon and the ANBU retreated from Deidara’s enormous explosion, which carved vast craters into the land.
