Chapter Summaries

Kurenai Yuhi and Uzuki Yugao returned to Konoha and learned that Uchiha Qingcheng was beating Sarutobi Asuma and his clan. Kurenai hurried to the woods, where she confronted Qingcheng as his Shadow Clones continued attacking them.

• Kurenai Yuhi and Uzuki Yugao discussed their mission, the Root ninja who had tried to assassinate them, and Kurenai’s plan to ask Qingcheng whether he would accept other women.
• At Konoha’s gate, Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki told Kurenai that Qingcheng was beating Asuma and Sarutobi Clan ninja in the woods.
