As an obscure little world located deep within the Warp, Draenor—even as a Daemon World—had never seen any great storms, populated entirely by idle daemons far removed from the front lines of conflict.
Simply put, the Warp entities there were all losers; they had no desire to join the factions of the Chaos Gods as errand boys, nor did they possess the grand ambition of a god-tier existence like Vashtorr, who believed that a man born between heaven and earth should never dwell beneath others.
Usually, they could only survive by acting as a staging ground for a local Chaos warband called the Hydra, trading their services for meager scraps of souls—a place defined by a lack of ambition, nothing like the terrifying hell perceived by the rest of the world.
But with a thunderous boom in the sky, this peaceful life was shattered; the terrifying fleet of The Fifth Chaos God had arrived, and they had brought a horde of Orks along with them.
