Omega Gets Caught

Kosovia was an obscure swamp planet whose natural landscape remained almost untouched. Vast swamplands covered the entire world, and beyond its lush, bizarre vegetation, everything exuded a wild beauty.

Today, however, this planet deep in T'au territory had received a group of rather unfriendly human giants.

Looking at the birthplace of her own species, Shadowsun didn't hesitate. She immediately became a guide for the enemy, leading Hogg and his companions to a stretch of swamp. Pointing at the blue amphibians basking on the bank, she said:

"My lord, the creatures you wanted are right here. They're all pure specimens untouched by genetic pollution. They'll definitely meet your requirements."

Hogg beckoned over a Lemon Boy who looked especially sharp and nodded to him. The Lemon Boy understood at once, raised the harpoon gun he had prepared in advance, and fired.

With a shriek, the unfortunate little blue Xenos was dragged back on its grappling line, all the way to the Space Marine.

As everyone turned to look at him, the Space Marine holding the T'au Fish didn't say a word. He drew his combat knife, slit open the unfortunate creature, and drained its blood. Then he opened his cavernous maw and took a bite.

A few sounds of chewing followed. Everyone waited anxiously for the verdict, but Shadowsun was by far the most nervous. The others were thinking about food; she was worrying about the future of her people.
