As the home of a Chaos God, Change Sky's domain was boundless. No one knew where it ended or how many little secrets were hidden within its crystal forests.

But for the human Coalition, this campaign had been an overwhelming victory. Led by several Primarchs, the various Legions had spread across the battlefield, wiping out countless Chaos Daemons and claiming an immeasurable amount of spoils.

The wreckage of Space Hulks swept into the Warp by storms, shattered alien continents, and all sorts of rare materials were priceless treasures. Even dead Warp Daemons could be ground into meat paste and canned, while the stronger ones could be made into Daemon weapons.

The most excited of all were undoubtedly the Cloaked Cockroaches under Hogg. The junk scavengers never passed up a ruin. They'd risk their lives to explore even a Space Hulk. After all, anything they found was profit, and no one could say whether a piece of scrap might contain a powerful weapon left over from the Dark Age of Technology.

As a gathering place for Daemons, the territory Hogg and the others had conquered was only a tiny patch—an insignificant speck even within the Demon Realm. Vast regions remained under Tzeentch's control.

Without lingering, the human Coalition took everything they could carry and, after Angron issued an Exterminatus on everything they couldn't, headed home to digest their spoils.

Before the fleet departed, perhaps drawn together by some kinship, the runaway Rambo found the Primarch Leman Russ among the ruins. With the Darktide Squad's help, he successfully rescued the poor bastard.

One had to admit, Primarchs could take a beating. According to Leman Russ, he hadn't just been bombarded by friendly ships—he'd also been stomped hard by the super-evolved Emperor Knight and buried under tens of thousands of tons of rubble.
