The familiar tunnel through space and time, the familiar dizziness—everything was just as familiar. But compared to their first trip, when they'd had to withstand the temporal currents with their own bodies, Paw Patrol was now well prepared.
The sturdy, egg-shaped shuttle pod kept its passengers safe. Its adamantium frame, reinforced with auramite, was exceptionally durable. Even when the currents sliced into it, they only damaged the surface: the red paint made from Pariah ashes, along with the strange graffiti that covered it in Dog-man culture.
To minimize the area that could be damaged, the shuttle wasn't very large. Aside from the space needed for essential supplies, it could barely fit three people. Even Magnus had shrunk himself to the same standard Primarch size as Hogg.
Who had set that standard? Well, the Blacklight Doctrine clearly stated that 2.2 meters was a sacred number. Any Primarch taller than that had simply grown fat from eating Triple-Cow Canned Food as a child.
The three of them huddled together in the cramped cabin, but still managed to leave a small gap where they could pull out a set of Galaxy Brawl cards to pass the time.
"Attack! My Redeemer Dreadnought can attack three times in one round. Add Curze's unique first-strike advantage and its heavy twin-linked bolter, and I deal two extra damage in the first round, for eight damage total. You're dead."
Magnus frowned and pointed at Hogg's Jaghatai Khan card. "No way. My hero skill gives me a 47% dodge reduction. At most, you'd deal four damage. And who told you that a twin-linked bolter deals two damage per round? It's not Melta, which ignores armor. You have to account for damage reduction."
His trick hadn't fooled the dim-witted, sunburnt Ogryn, so the game continued. But Hogg's heart sank when
