Floating in the skies above Africa, a full five dimensional Portals had opened here. There had been no sacrifices, no suspicious Summoning Arrays. They had appeared out of thin air. This was an entirely different concept from the former.

Sacrifices and Summoning Arrays themselves both counted as "internal actions," and the World Barrier was powerless against them. They were choices made by the humans of this world. Even if they opened more dimensional Portals, the World Barrier could do nothing. But if an invasion came from beyond the World Barrier, it would teach the invaders what "unbreakable" meant.

Unfortunately, the current situation was difficult to explain using He Shenyan's theory. He did not know why those five dimensional Portals had appeared so abruptly, without even the slightest trace to investigate. One had to know, the invasions in New York and Los Angeles both had trails to follow.

One of those damned Portals came from traces left behind by a certain Hollywood cult activity in 1987, which was why it had opened on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The other Portal in New York was a hidden move left behind in the nineteenth century, before New York had become a jungle of steel.

All of those had trails to follow, and He Shenyan had even already notified the Mages of Kamar-Taj through his psychic tendrils and sent them to deal with it. Although they had lost their magic, with the support of the new
