Only Sicarius said nothing. The Ultramarines' Second Captain stood silently at the other end of the command chamber, frowning at the star map, deep in thought.
"Because we can't keep using such a dangerous weapon," Steve said with a faint, bitter smile.
Just yesterday, he had been full of confidence, intending to use the Flesh Curse as their main weapon of attack. And now, he had completely changed his tune, calling the Flesh Curse a dangerous weapon. The contrast was so great it was almost astonishing.
"My lord—" Helbrecht was clearly still trying to argue his case, but Pedro raised a hand and stopped him.
The Crimson Fists' Chapter Master had clearly realized something.

The Second Captain shook his head. "It's still the same sentence, unchanged. But according to the Glyph Array's scans, there are no ships following behind us at all. The detectors left aboard the Faith Messenger have also reported nothing
