Premium Launch Notes!

I just received word from my editor that the book was going premium.

Ah!!!

It was this rookie author's first time.

I wasn't quite sure what to say in a premium launch note, either.

I just released five chapters today, and it would be going premium tomorrow. Luckily, I still had a tiny bit of backlog saved up.

Let me talk about my personal circumstances first. I'm a college student, currently in my sophomore year.

I'm the second child in my family, and both my parents are nearing sixty.

Because of the pandemic, my family's financial situation...

Sigh, everyone knows how that goes.

So I thought I'd see if I could write a book and earn some living expenses. It would also fulfill the writing dream I'd had since high school.

This book debuted on QQ Reading, so those of you reading it here should know how things work.

It's a membership book. As long as you have a membership, you can read it for free, just like before it went premium.

For readers without a membership, you'll need to subscribe.

Personally, from a reader's perspective, I think getting a membership is more worthwhile.

I'm not too sure about the situation for readers over at Qidian. I don't know whether they have this membership system, but normal subscriptions will definitely work, so don't worry. Just treat it like a regular premium launch.

Now, let me address the update schedule everyone cares about most.

It would go premium at noon tomorrow, and I would upload six chapters then so everyone could get their fill.

The notification was a little sudden, or I could have prepared more. After all, I only released five chapters today, and I really didn't have much backlog left.

Next, let me explain the bonus chapter rules.

Within one week, every 1,000 recommendation votes would earn one bonus chapter.

Within one month, every 50 monthly votes would earn one bonus chapter.

Every 3,000 book coins in total tips would earn one bonus chapter.

Recommendation votes reset every week, which was why they could only be counted within a single week.

The same applied to monthly votes.

As for tips, a total of thirty yuan would be enough.

I would also count the tips received before the book went premium.

Um...

I'm a genuine rookie author, so these bonus chapter requirements shouldn't be too high, right? I think.
