A few minutes earlier, Zhang Yang had just sent the sales agent away. Now, only he and the little flight attendant were left on the terrace.
"I just thought of a joke." Zhang Yang suddenly laughed. "They say all the rich people in the world are great philanthropists. They don't live in their big houses themselves—three hundred and sixty-five days a year, most of the time it's the housekeepers living there, and they even get paid."
"Then wouldn't I only be one step away from living like you? I just need to apply to be your housekeeper?" Han Lu had a sudden idea. "Are you hiring? What do you think of me?"
Bosses worried about every aspect of their companies all day, running around for the company's development and their employees' livelihoods. Housekeepers, on the other hand, lived in luxury homes, collected a salary, and didn't have to shoulder any of that pressure.
She had just seen that even the maid's quarters in this villa were designed as suites, complete with independent bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and everything else.
"Being a flight attendant isn't respectable enough for you? You want to be my housekeeper instead?" Zhang Yang asked with amusement.
"Don't make fun of me. Flight attendant is just a job." Han Lu shook her head. "If there were better opportunities, who would keep doing it forever? Being cabin crew is exhausting, okay?"
"What kind of opportunity?" Zhang Yang asked with a smile.
"Meeting an outstanding man. Quite a few of my colleagues either get married or switch careers after one or two years on the job." Han Lu continued on the subject. "Zhang Yang, let me tell you—one of my former colleagues met her husband on a plane. Her husband owns a company, and now she's a full-time housewife."
