Zhang Yang was in unusually high spirits as he took several fellow townsmen on a proper tour of his mine, letting them see its scale and environment firsthand.
Heaven knew, he had no intention of showing off.
Across all of Salito Province, leaving aside most of the mines, practically any ownerless mine was his for the taking. Did he really need to flaunt this one little mine?
He was simply giving his fellow townsmen a tour.
"They..." Zhou Tong and the others suddenly stopped, watching a fully armed mine security squad pass in front of them.
With how heavily armed they were, anyone unaware would have thought they were some elite special forces unit.
"They're my mine security team," Zhang Yang explained casually.
"Mine security team?" They all clicked their tongues, unable to find words to describe their shock.
They were still at the stage of hiring a few guards and giving them a couple of AK-47s. Yet President Zhang had his own mine security force? And judging by their equipment and bearing, professionalism and combat capability practically radiated off them.
What they did not know was that the main force of Zhang Yang's five-hundred-man mine security team had long since been deployed elsewhere. The ones left here were merely a small fraction, usually just patrolling around. They were practically for show.
Outside the armory, Zhang Yang had Chris come over and unlock the door.
Upon entering the enormous armory, they found AK-47s, ammunition, all manner of firearms and individual combat gear scattered everywhere. There were even man-portable missiles. It was practically a full-fledged arsenal.
The few of them stood rooted to the spot, overwhelmed by the shock washing over them.
Could private individuals even own this stuff?
"Come on, I'll treat you to some big fireworks." Zhang Yang smiled.
