Background / History

Lin Hanzhou was originally an ordinary person from Earth who retained his memories after living eighteen years in Blue Star, a high-martial world. His Grade D Superior talent severely limited his prospects until the Great Dream Heavens System bound to him and granted a Dream Entry opportunity. 1

Great Sui Dynasty

His first dream realm placed him in the body of Great Sui’s disregarded Eleventh Prince. Previously regarded as a “waste,” he returned to the capital rather than remain safely away from the succession struggle, using his synchronized Xiantian cultivation to defeat rival princes and their experts. 1 8

After Lin Batian revealed that the bloody succession contest had been a deliberate test, he entrusted Lin Hanzhou with the empire, the Shadow Guard’s authority, and the task of dealing with the corrupt Five Great Clans. Lin Hanzhou became emperor and immediately pursued land nationalization, official schools, and tax reform. 9 12

When the Five Great Clans prepared a coup, he personally led the Shadow Guard in a coordinated night assault that annihilated their estates. His subsequent reforms strengthened Great Sui’s administration, education, army, and public access to body-tempering methods. 13 15

Over eighty years, he oversaw a prosperous era, defeated and annexed the Liao Kingdom, then abdicated to the Crown Prince, Lin Qi. He later obtained a second-rank spiritual herb, reached the Qi Gathering Realm, and died after returning to the palace to see his great-grandson Lin Mu. 15 17

Great Gan Dynasty

In his next dream transmigration, Lin Hanzhou awakened in Zhang Qi’s body amid the aftermath of Zhang Family Village’s massacre. He killed the responsible Cloud Glow Sect disciple, Zhou Fengyu, fused with Zhang Qi’s memories, destroyed the village’s remaining evidence, and fled from the Cloud Glow Sect’s pursuit. 21 23

He defended the capital against the Qing Army, later subdued the Three Great Sects for access to their martial inheritances, and became the decisive military deterrent behind Li Yuechan’s reign. After reaching the peak of the Qi Sea Realm, he annihilated ten Qing Grandmasters and their army before pursuing the source of their abnormal power to Hertu. 39 49

In Great Qing’s capital, he was critically wounded by Feng Xiaotian of the Blood Demon Sect. Refusing to be refined into her puppet, he activated the final style of Three Reverse Pulse Styles and self-destructed while holding her, killing them both. 50
