—Three days later, Star Luo City.
"Whoa, so this is Star Luo City. No wonder it's the imperial capital..."
Murong Huai and the others had set out from Spirit City and reached the capital of the Star Luo Empire—Star Luo City—after three days on the road. As an imperial capital, its walls and buildings were magnificently grand, an awe-inspiring sight.
"However fine Star Luo City is, it still falls far short of Spirit City." Xuan Tianming looked at the towering buildings around them and spoke disdainfully.
"Exactly. Even Seven Treasure City, home to my Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, is more splendid than Star Luo City." Ning Fengzhi spoke with equal pride.
Bibi Dong smiled at that and said, "As the capital of the Star Luo Empire, Star Luo City has an excellent geographical position. Economically, it connects the north and south, and merchants come and go without end. Strategically, it lies at the heart of the empire, with sturdy walls that are easy to defend and difficult to attack. Rather than a capital, you could call it an impregnable fortress. Its roads are clear, too, so military orders and decrees can pass through without obstruction."
"Whoa, Dong'er, you've analyzed it so thoroughly. Are you planning to take the place?" Qin Tianzhen rubbed his forehead.
"Oh, I've just gotten used to it after spending so long at the Military Camp." Bibi Dong smiled.
On this trip, Murong Huai and the seven others were riding together in one carriage, a gigantic one specially built by the Ministry of Works that could hold about ten people at a time. Gui Mei, Yue Guan, and Dugu Bo followed behind as escorts in another carriage. Golden Crocodile had set out alone and wasn't traveling with them.
The carriage slowly rolled into Star Luo City.
