The Emperor Clans are seven long-standing clans distinguished by their Dou Di bloodlines, ancient inheritances, independent small worlds, and control of fragments of the Tou She Ancient God Jade. Their power rests not only on their clan leaders and high-level Dou Sheng experts, but also on their ancestors, Descendant People, vassal forces, and accumulated resources. 336 355 374

Xiao Wujiu considers all seven Emperor Clans enemies because of their historical role in the Xiao Clan's downfall. He initially targets members bearing Ancient Clan bloodlines, then expands his campaign into a systematic war against the Emperor Clans as a whole. 230 336 337

History

The Emperor Clans endured a long decline in bloodline strength. By the time of Xiao Wujiu's rise, the Spirit Clan had fallen to the lowest rank among them, while the Stone Clan had lost its high-level Dou Sheng experts. The Yao Clan's strongest active member was only a Seven-Star Dou Sheng, while the Thunder and Flame Clans retained Eight-Star Dou Sheng-level leaders. 337

Despite their decline, the clans remained immensely stronger than ordinary mainland factions. The Spirit Clan alone possessed an independent Spirit World, external vassal forces, soul-cultivation inheritances, and one-eighth of the Tou She Ancient God Jade. 336

Xiao Wujiu's escalating strength and his open hostility toward the Emperor Clans eventually forced them to recognize him as a common threat. After the Spirit Clan and Stone Clan were destroyed, the five surviving clans increased communications and formed a coalition with the goal of besieging Ancient Dragon Island. 279 349 350 358

War Against Xiao Wujiu

Initial Purges

Xiao Wujiu began by using a spiritual defensive array capable of detecting and instantly erasing individuals carrying Ancient Clan bloodlines. He regarded the seven Emperor Clans as enemies and ordered that those who could not be useful prisoners be killed. 230

He then assembled forces on Ancient Dragon Island for a campaign against the Spirit Clan, anticipating that attacks on the weaker clans would eventually provoke a coordinated response from the others. 334

Destruction of the Spirit Clan

The Spirit Clan detected Xiao Wujiu's invasion and activated the Spirit Emperor Grand Array. Its leader summoned the remnant soul of the Spirit Emperor, whose Emperor Realm Soul enabled combat strength comparable to an ordinary Seven-Star Dou Sheng. 336 337

Xiao Wujiu fought the Spirit Emperor personally while his allies sealed escape routes and exterminated the clan's descendants. He eventually captured the Spirit Emperor's soul for the Human Emperor Banner, deployed the Yongzhen Array across the Spirit World, and harvested the lives of the remaining Spirit Clan members. 337 339 340

Destruction of the Stone Clan

After the Spirit Clan's fall, Xiao Wujiu chose the Stone Clan as his next target rather than immediately challenging stronger clans. The Stone Clan awakened the Stone Emperor Statue, the physical body of an ancient Dou Di, but its defenses failed. 343 347

The Stone Clan's members were exterminated both inside and outside the Stone Realm. Xiao Wujiu's Heavenly Demon Puppets slaughtered the survivors, while the bodies of Stone Clan experts were retained for further puppet refinement. 349 355

Five-Clan Alliance

The destruction of the Spirit and Stone Clans drove the remaining Ancient, Soul, Yao, Flame, and Thunder Clans into a formal alliance. Their leaders—Gu Yuan, Hun Tiandi, Yao Dan, Yan Jin, and Lei Ying—gathered to confront Xiao Wujiu. 362 367

The allied army surrounded Ancient Dragon Island with clan experts, Descendant People, spatial ships, combined-strike formations, and ancestral phantoms. The Evil Emperor guided their formation-breaking strategy, while secretly intending to exploit the alliance for his own ascension. 367 368 371

Betrayal and Collapse

During the battle around Ancient Dragon Island, the Evil Emperor activated the Blood-Thirst Soul-Annihilation Array. It drained the cultivation, vitality, essence, and spirit of Emperor Clan members and Descendant People, using them as nourishment to achieve an alternative form of ascension. 373 374

The alliance's foundations collapsed amid the battle. The Ancient Clan was defeated, the Soul Clan was annihilated after its surrender, and Gu Yuan was taken into the Human Emperor Banner. Xiao Wujiu later ordered a search for surviving Emperor Clan agents and sent Cai Lin to retrieve the remaining Tou She Ancient God Jade fragments. 382 384
