There was mainly a living area, a training area, and a deeper section beyond them.

Until darkness fully descended, the moon rose high overhead, and the clamor within the camp gradually died down.

Only the crackling of bonfires and scattered snores remained.

Avoiding the patrols' lines of sight, he easily vaulted over the outer wooden fence.

He landed in the shadows inside the camp.

He did not act rashly, instead observing for a while first.

Then, he silently closed in on a Kusagakure genin who had just emerged from the latrine, yawning.
