Standing by the window, Miss Moonlit watched the cars speeding by outside, along with the tall buildings. She began to ponder her next goal.

The Sacred Gear on some Dragon Emperor wasn't urgent. Gasper was still young, and the main story was years away.

Going too early would be pointless. It would be better to improve herself first.

After all, that place was being watched by many factions – Demons, Fallen Angels…

Going there now would expose her to their eyes.

Miss Moonlit's current strength wasn't enough, and she didn't want to confront these factions too early.

"What are your plans now?"

She turned to the two vampires behind her. There were no longer any maidens they needed to be concerned about. That wasn't entirely true, though. Gasper still possessed a Divine Artifact…

The Sacred Gear could only be obtained by combining the Evil Eye with his remaining power, but it was unknown how long it would take for that Divine Artifact to form.

Suddenly hearing Miss Moonlit's question, Gasper and Valerie looked a bit lost.

They genuinely didn't know what to do next.

Although they were free now, as vampires… they were still out of place among humans.

"Didn't I tell you? You are free now. You can go wherever you want, and no one will stop you."

"As long as you don't go to the Church or the core areas of those factions."

Looking at the cash before them, Valerie and Gasper hesitated and did not take it.

Before, they had wanted to get away from the castle and from the terrifying elder sister, Miss Moonlit. But now, they felt lost instead. The two young vampires deliberated for a few seconds before reaching a unified decision.

Looking up at Miss Moonlit, Valerie spoke hesitantly, making a request.

"My lady, could we perhaps stay with you for now?"

After much hesitation, Valerie voiced her thoughts.

She had lived in the castle her entire life and knew nothing of the outside world. Facing this world alone now, she didn't know what would happen.

While Miss Moonlit had been terrifying during their previous battle, she didn't seem to harbor any ill will towards them at the moment.

The Divine Artifact she wanted had already been given to her. And since she was willing to let them leave, she probably wouldn't do anything else to them…

In that case, it might be better to stay with her for now, and once they had a better understanding of the outside world, they could make further plans.

Miss Moonlit was so powerful; staying by her side would be much safer. Besides, they were both vampires… they were kin, after all.

"Stay with me?"
