When it first advanced to become a Gu King, the Blood Immortal Gu had devoured an unidentified golden-amber object shaped like a human finger bone.
After successfully advancing, the Blood Immortal Gu developed its Gu King ability, allowing it to turn its normally blood-red threads golden-amber by empowering them with that ability.
Chen Cheng had never used this trump card in public.
In private, however, he had tested it many times.
His conclusion was that these Golden Amber Threads were as durable as profound-realm armaments and extremely difficult to sever. When large numbers of them intertwined, they offered formidable protection.
