Seeking Food, Fighting a Giant Tiger!

"Roar! Roar, roar!"

After He Lingxuan continued to lay low for another two days, the Giant Tiger seemed to let out a sound of frustration before finally turning to leave.

Just after the Giant Tiger departed, he laid low for one more day, but the thirsty and starving He Lingxuan eventually had to run out to search for food and fresh water.

He stopped only after choking on the water. After scanning his surroundings and finding no bizarre animals, he drank a few more mouthfuls, fashioned a water cup out of some nearby plants, and continued his search for food, though he couldn't find a single fruit after circling the area.

Just as He Lingxuan was about to give up, he spotted a massive orchard where dozens of trees were laden with unknown fruits that looked succulent and juicy.

Just as he was about to rush out in excitement, two behemoths suddenly appeared and began to clash!

Deep within the giant orchard, a Giant Ape at least 20 meters tall grabbed a withered tree nearby, uprooted it, and hurled it into the sky!

A piercing whistle cut through the air as a boundless shadow suddenly appeared in the firmament, instantly shrouding the earth!

An Ancient Pterosaur descended amidst a gale, its wings spanning dozens of meters; with just a gentle flap, it whipped up a violent storm!

After flapping its massive wings forcefully, two terrifying tornadoes formed, shredding the withered tree thrown by the Giant Ape into two halves!

As the debris from the withered wood scattered, one section slammed down just two yards in front of He Lingxuan, the powerful gust nearly blowing him away.

A wave of immense terror washed over his entire body, and cold sweat broke out instantly.

He Lingxuan tried his best to maintain his composure, his eyes cautiously peering forward.

Realizing that the two giant monsters had not noticed the existence of an ant like him, he let out a sigh of relief, only for the two beasts to begin provoking one another.

To make matters worse, the water cup he had woven to hold dew was nowhere to be found, clearly lost somewhere during his flight.

This left He Lingxuan with neither food nor water, though he was at least lucky to have filled his stomach before leaving, or he might not have had the strength to run at all.

After spending a few more days in extreme caution, He Lingxuan felt that if he didn't go out to find food, he would starve to death sooner or later, so he plucked up his courage to venture out again.

Draining the last drop of dew from his leaf-woven cup, He Lingxuan patted his face, trying to wake himself up.

However, the intense hunger pangs in his stomach left his body devoid of strength, and he muttered curses under his breath as he walked toward the cave entrance.

As he neared the exit, his complaints died down.

Step by step, it drew closer, while He Lingxuan stood frozen in place, as if terrified out of his wits.

But as low growls began to emanate from He Lingxuan's throat, the approaching Giant Tiger sensed something was wrong.

"Why? Why force me? Why not give me a way to live? I just want to survive! I've been hiding and fleeing for so long, why won't you let me go? Why! Tell me why!"

He Lingxuan's handsome face looked exceptionally ferocious with every low growl!

A massive aura erupted from He Lingxuan's body out of nowhere!

He lifted his head, his eyes deep as the starry sky fixed intensely upon the approaching Giant Tiger, his gaze exceptionally vicious!

"I'll fight you to the death!"

With that, he vanished from where he stood!

A second later, he appeared beneath the Giant Tiger's head; his thin, pale arms and seemingly frail fists were now bulging with veins, a sign of him clenching his fist with all his might.

It was unclear why a "common person" from Earth possessed such speed.

He himself didn't seem to realize why he possessed such speed and strength.

He threw a punch, striking the Giant Tiger's lower jaw.

BOOM!!!

To the surprise of both the Giant Tiger and He Lingxuan, the power of this punch was immense.

The Giant Tiger had only intended to toy with its prey, waiting for it to exhaust itself before eating it, never expecting the mere prey to strike back.

The Giant Tiger choked back its roar, finally feeling the sting of pain. Regaining its senses, it leaped backward and slammed a claw down with all its might!

The resulting shockwave was strong enough to blow a person away, and the razor-sharp claws glinted with lethal intent. Just as the Giant Tiger thought it had finished off He Lingxuan, it saw no gore or remains beneath its paw.

As it turned out, at the very last second, Thousand Jun had somehow found the strength to dodge the strike by a hair's breadth.

Slowly, time ticked away, and his frenzied fists began to grow sluggish until he finally ran out of strength.

He Lingxuan collapsed backward, falling onto the carcass of the Giant Tiger he had beaten to death.
