Karochi nodded, his serious expression proving he wasn't joking.
"That's truly troublesome!" Tights felt this was already bordering on the bizarre; the fact that something as abstract and difficult to define as time could be paused was simply incredible.
"That's not an issue, as long as I catch him off guard and finish him in one go! After all, his combat power is quite low." While Karochi admitted Guldo was hard to deal with, that was only if a strong opponent was there to intercept him.
For instance, if he were fighting Ginyu and Guldo pulled a stunt like that, he'd be done for! Fortunately, the one with him was that big oaf, Recoome.
"Alright, Tights! I'm heading out now to take them both down! Better to do it before they regroup and make things difficult." Reducing the enemy's numbers as much as possible was the right move.
Tights watched Karochi depart with a conflicted expression; she didn't want him to take this risk, but there was truly no other way.
Karochi climbed into the small spacecraft. This mission definitely couldn't involve Tights. Despite the easy promises he'd made to her, winning would be difficult, and one careless mistake could lead to disaster.
Karochi put on his headset and hit the launch button, diving straight toward the Fidelian planet below, specifically targeting the coordinates where Guldo and Recoome were located.
Beep, beep, beep!
As soon as Karochi's craft entered the atmosphere, the scouters worn by Ginyu, Recoome, Burter, and Jeice all reacted.
"What's wrong? Recoome, don't tell me you're giving up already!" Guldo chuckled, looking at Recoome, who had stopped moving. Because Guldo had eyes on the sides of his head, he couldn't wear a scouter and hadn't noticed a thing.
"Recoome, there's a power signature of 5,000 heading your way!" Ginyu's voice crackled through the scouter. He wasn't particularly concerned about his subordinate's life, but he feared being reprimanded by Lord Frieza if such a simple mission resulted in casualties.
"Don't worry, Captain, heh heh! Guldo and I will give him a proper welcome." A combat power of 5,000 was a bit low, but it was still a decent toy, wasn't it?
Guldo was full of confusion. "Recoome, what did the Captain say!?"
"A little guy with a combat power of about 5,000 is coming our way. I was just about to kill someone, so this one is mine!" Thinking of the slaughter to come, Recoome let out a chilling laugh that made the Fidelian people cowering on the ground afraid to even breathe.
"Ah! How can you do that?" Hearing that a good toy was being snatched by Recoome, Guldo immediately protested. "We should keep playing rock-paper-scissors."
After all, a combat power of 5,000 wasn't low; it was much more fun than these pieces of trash with single-digit power levels!
"Fine, we'll keep playing later! But this match counts as my win." Recoome continued to haggle.
"Th-that's fine! But it's settled, we play fair later."
"Don't worry, don't worry!"
"Recoome, do you want us to come and provide support?" Burter's voice came through the scouter, sounding slightly expectant.
After all, killing these Fidelians was truly boring.
"No need! Guldo and I have already decided how to split them! Why would you come here? Captain, tell them!" Recoome jumped up in agitation at Burter's words. If they came over for just one toy, there'd be nothing left to play with! At least with just him and Guldo, they could take turns.
"Alright, Jeice, Burter! Keep an eye on the Fidelians in your sector and wait for the ship!" Ginyu's voice cut in. Truth be told, he wanted to go too, but 5,000 really wasn't worth the effort.
"Yes, Captain!"
"Heh heh! Thanks, Captain." Recoome's voice was full of glee.
Ginyu felt it necessary to add a warning: "Recoome, don't just focus on playing. If those Fidelians escape, I won't forgive you."
"Yes, Captain!" Recoome dropped his playful tone.
"What happened? Those two aren't coming over, right!?" Guldo asked.
"Don't worry, this toy is ours! Let's go, he should be landing at coordinates {235·46246}!" Recoome couldn't wait, and he didn't want the target to get away.
"Hmm, then what about these Fidelians!?" Guldo was a bit troubled; after all, Captain Ginyu's mission was to guard them.
"Doesn't matter. If they try to run, we can just play a game of cat and mouse!" Recoome didn't care at all, as long as the little rats didn't actually escape.
"Oh, good! Let's go."
The two shot into the sky, flying toward Karochi's projected landing site.
On the ground, the Fidelians trembled as they lifted their heads to cautiously observe if the pair had truly left. Only after confirming they were gone did they breathe a slight sigh of relief.
"Po... Porto! What... what should we do now?" A Fidelian behind him asked the leader in a stutter, making it clear that Porto was their superior.
The intent behind the question was obvious: he wanted to flee but was too terrified. They had heard the conversation between Guldo and Recoome clearly; running meant death, but staying meant the same fate.
The other Fidelians also looked up at Porto, their eyes filled with dread.
"Run. Save as many as we can! At least get the children out." Porto's eyes were bloodshot, his voice filled with grief and indignation! They truly had no room to resist.
Hearing Porto's words, the rest of the Fidelians stood up and began to scatter, moving with difficulty. It wasn't that they didn't want to run, but their legs had long since turned to jelly; standing up now was purely an act of survival instinct.
"Little Chi, those two are heading toward your landing site!" Tights' voice rang in Karochi's ear.
"Got it, Tights! I can feel them," Karochi replied from inside the craft. Guldo and Recoome's ki was very obvious and quite arrogant. He couldn't help but find it funny—he hadn't even gone looking for them, and they had delivered themselves right to his doorstep. How perfect!
One had to admit, sometimes pretending to be weak was quite practical for attracting idiots.
The spacecraft began to glide about two meters above the ground, and by then, Guldo and Recoome had already arrived, standing on the surface to watch.
"Oh! I have to say, this ship is actually quite user-friendly!" Guldo remarked. After all, the ships the Ginyu Force usually used, like the one Karochi had taken to Earth, just crashed into the ground to decelerate.
"Forget that. If you want it, give this guy to me! How about it?" Recoome still wanted to go first; if Guldo beat the guy half-dead, there wouldn't be any fun left.
"No way! Recoome, didn't we agree to play rock-paper-scissors?" Guldo refused, annoyed that Recoome was trying to welch on the deal.
At that moment, Karochi opened the hatch and stepped out with a faint smile on his face, his tail clearly visible behind him.
Recoome and Guldo widened their six eyes. A tail? Wasn't this a Saiyan? But hadn't all the Saiyans been wiped out by Lord Frieza? Except for Vegeta, Nappa, and that loser Raditz.
"Hey, Recoome, if I'm not mistaken... he's a Saiyan, right?" Guldo said, unable to believe it. After all, before Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, he had recalled all the Saiyans scattered across the galaxy first! And after a thorough check, there had been no signals from any other Saiyan ships.
And this was clearly just a child, yet he already possessed a battle power of 5,000!! Could Saiyans really be this strong? This should at least be the level of an adult Saiyan.
Recoome couldn't believe his eyes either; he rubbed them and stared intently at Karochi! The way he looked made Karochi feel completely uncomfortable. He had never heard of this bastard having any special fetishes—could it be that Recoome had a soft spot for young boys? Karochi couldn't help but clench his butt cheeks.
"There shouldn't be any mistake, that unique hairstyle! And the characteristic tail, it's definitely a Saiyan. Guldo, we'll deal with the distribution later! I have to report to the Captain first." Although Recoome found it hard to believe, what was before his eyes was undoubtedly a Saiyan.
"Alright! You go report to the Captain, I'll go and try to pry some information out of him, hehe~!" Guldo wore a wicked grin.
"Don't you dare try to hog the credit!!!" Recoome warned him before connecting to Ginyu's communicator.
"What is it, Recoome?" Ginyu was in the middle of thinking up new poses for the squad and was clearly unhappy about being interrupted!! His tone carried a hint of icy chill.
Recoome didn't dare to be cheeky anymore: "Reporting to the Captain, we have found that 'toy'! But the target is a Saiyan, and a child at that."
"Oh~!!!" Ginyu was taken aback. Hadn't all the Saiyans been wiped out? "Are you sure you didn't see wrong?"
"Reporting to the Captain, I definitely didn't see wrong! Based on the tail, there is no doubt he is a Saiyan," Recoome replied.
"Captain, let us go too. We want to see who managed to escape from Lord Frieza," Jeice's voice came through; he clearly still wanted a piece of the action.
"No, Recoome, you saw wrong!! Lord Frieza has already killed all the Saiyans, do you understand!? What you are looking at is not some Saiyan, but a wild monkey!!! Do you understand?" A dangerous chill flickered in Ginyu's eyes, and his tone was even colder than before.
Recoome understood the Captain's meaning in an instant: "Yes, Captain Ginyu. Guldo and I only saw a wild monkey, not any Saiyan." After saying this, Recoome quickly cut the connection.
"Jeice, do you have anything else to say!!" Ginyu's voice reached Jeice's ears, making him break out in a cold sweat! He had spoken out of turn once again.
"N-nothing! I will keep a close watch on the Fidelians, Captain." He was already stuttering.
"Hmph, if there is a next time, I will not show mercy!!!"
"Yes, Captain!!"
As for Recoome, he let out a heavy sigh of relief!! He had almost been killed; the Captain had definitely been furious just now.
"What's wrong, Recoome? Why are you drenched in sweat?" Guldo asked, puzzled.
"Alright, enough talk. How is it, has the target shown any movement!?" Recoome, still shaken, didn't dare say more and looked toward Karochi. It seemed he hadn't made any moves, yet it also looked like he was walking toward them.
Guldo suppressed his curiosity and said with a look of disdain: "What kind of movement could he have!! He's just a Saiyan who hasn't even grown up yet."
Before he could finish his next sentence, Recoome covered his mouth: "That is not a Saiyan, that is a wild monkey, got it??"
Guldo quickly caught on and nodded!! Indicating that he understood.
