Frieza Was Asking for It

Captain Ginyu's Force Power level was anyone's guess, but it was definitely more than their 5,000! And somehow, the enemy had even gotten that useless Guldo's superpower!

"Y-You—don't come any closer! I'm warning you, I'm a member of the Ginyu Force, serving under Lord Frieza! As a Saiyan, you should know how terrifying Lord Frieza is, right?" Recoome watched Karochi approach, terrified enough to immediately invoke his powerful backer.

Karochi feigned anger. "Heh! If you hadn't mentioned Frieza, I might've let you live. But you just had to bring up that bastard who destroyed my home planet."

Truthfully, Karochi felt no attachment to Planet Vegeta. His one year on Earth had been far more fulfilling! Damn it, he'd spent four years on Planet Vegeta, three of them getting beaten up. Even his dad in his previous life had never hit him that hard.

The thought made him even angrier, and his powerful aura erupted!

"Little Chi~!" Tights thought Karochi was genuinely upset over his home planet's destruction, and couldn't help feeling a little sympathy for him.

"Jeice, Burter! Why aren't you there yet????" Ginyu's furious voice rang in their ears. Clearly, Ginyu had also seen the number Karochi had displayed.

Of course, he didn't believe that was the enemy's true strength! How had the peak just reached 70,000, only to drop to 65,000? Did they think he was an idiot?

"Right away, Captain Ginyu! ×2" Jeice and Burter answered at once, then hurried toward Ginyu without lingering.

"How could a Saiyan be that strong?" Veins bulged on Ginyu's purple, bald head. "Could it be that he's...?" The possibility made him lose control of his expression. No way. A Super Saiyan?!

As Karochi drew closer, Recoome was overjoyed. A little closer, just a little... Now! Recoome braced himself against the ground with both fists and grinned wildly. "Aha! You've stepped into the range of my [Divine Power Circle]. Now you're as good as dead!"

Violent energy surged out, red lightning crackling around him. The ground split under the force of his power, and tiny rocks broke free of the planet's gravity and floated in the air.

Recoome's body swelled, his muscles growing abnormally large! He opened his toothless mouth and let out strange cries from time to time. "Just you wait, brat! I, Recoome, will pound you into a pulp!"

Karochi was stunned. Who gave you that confidence? Liang Jingru? What a joke. I just told you I got Guldo's superpower, and you're still powering up in front of me? And you're even charging it for a long time! Are you an idiot?

Recoome's power reached its peak, and he lunged. "You little brat, prepare to die!!!"

Karochi raised his hand and used the superpower he'd just acquired. Unlike a wide-range ability like [Time Stop], this one locked down a small, fixed area, leaving anyone inside unable to move while still conscious.

"Hmm! [Bind] is a lot more practical than [Time Stop]." Karochi gave his verdict. It took little energy to use, and didn't require holding his breath.

Recoome was dumbfounded, frozen inside [Bind]! He'd been so confident as he charged in close, only to have his attack stopped by a single move from his opponent?

And this wasn't [Time Stop]. The longer he used [Divine Power Circle], the faster his energy drained! The technique already put an enormous strain on his body.

The pain of his own power tearing him apart made him want to scream, but he couldn't even open his mouth! There was no agony worse than this. Blood gradually began to flow from Recoome's orifices!

From his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth! Blood gushed out of them all, and his muscles began to split apart!

"Would you look at that? Seems this [Divine Power Circle] does a number on you, too!" Karochi teased when he saw what was happening, then released him from [Bind] with a casual gesture.

"Gah—! Pfft, cough, cough, cough—!" His scream and the spray of blood came almost at once. Recoome choked on the blood in his lungs and broke into violent coughing, then collapsed limply to the ground, utterly miserable.

Recoome trembled as he raised his head and watched Karochi walk toward him. In his panic, he tried to speak, but another mouthful of blood sprayed out!!!

"Tell me, what did the Ginyu Force come to this Fidel Planet for?" Karochi asked curiously. This was what puzzled him most! For an insignificant low-level planet, sending a few nobodies should've been enough. Why send the elite troops under Frieza?

"Cough, cough—! Pfft, Fr... Frieza... Lord Frieza, cough, cough!" Recoome tried to answer, but his insides were already a mess. He hadn't gotten more than a few words out before he started coughing up blood again, with bits of his organs mixed in.

Seeing him in that state, Karochi lost interest in questioning him further. He was already a wreck! It would probably take Ginyu arriving before he could finish a sentence. "Forget it. I'll ask the Fidelians later! I don't like torturing people, either. I'll grant you mercy!"

Karochi gathered a huge energy blast between his hands. It was already bigger than he was!

Recoome wanted to beg for his life when he saw the energy blast, but every time he opened his mouth, blood came out! He couldn't make a sound at all.

Boom~~!!

A tremendous explosion rang out, and the terrifying energy swallowed Recoome! It turned him to dust in one go, along with a chunk of ground. Yep, Karochi had blasted another huge crater into the earth.

"Little Chi, nice job! Only three left now, and you got a superpower. This should be much easier." Tights spoke, her voice no longer as heavy as before, but instead quite relaxed.

Mm! Karochi wanted to tell Tights that Ginyu also had a superpower—[Telekinesis], the ability he used to make the Dragon Balls float in the original story. As for [Body Swap], that wasn't a superpower but Ginyu's own special ability, one that followed his soul.

Uh, no need to be so polite. I was hoping to borrow some fuel from you! "You're in really poor shape. Eat these two beans." Seeing the two Fidelians trembling so much they could barely stand, Karochi couldn't bear it and gave them two Senzu Beans.

The two exchanged a glance, then swallowed them with grim resolve! The moment the beans went down, their ravenous hunger vanished, replaced by a feeling of fullness. Their bodies no longer seemed ready to collapse at the slightest breeze; they felt as healthy as they had before!

Shock filled their eyes, and then they knelt before Karochi again!! "Thank you, sir!" Their voices were full of strength.

"Mm! Let me ask you something. What did the Ginyu Force come to your planet for?"

Porto answered with a bitter smile. "They came for a vague, far-fetched legend! They're here to find the so-called 'Galactic Warriors.'"

Karochi's eyes widened. What? Galactic Warriors?! Did Frieza think life was pointless and want to spend some time in Hell? This was practically asking for death!!
