"Knock, knock, knock!"
"Open up, prostitution crackdown!"
With a BANG!
The hotel room door was kicked open mercilessly.
A woman with long, dark, and luxuriant hair strode in.
Leng Qing wore a green Judgment Association vest that tightly bound her overflowing chest. Black stockings outlined her straight, slender legs, with a surprisingly fleshy thigh area.
The beam of a flashlight shone over, and two girls on the soft, large bed let out startled cries, covering their faces.
"Radiance."
Mu Ningwei raised his hand, distorting the flashlight beam into a ball that shone on the ceiling, illuminating the high-class hotel room.
"Judgment Association?"
Mu Nujiao gasped upon seeing Leng Qing's uniform.
Mu Ningwei eyed Leng Qing in surprise. "Is it like this domestically already? Sending Judgment Association members for prostitution crackdowns?"
Mu Nuxin covered her face and whispered, "Esteemed Judgment Association member, is there perhaps a misunderstanding?"
Leng Qing looked at the two shy young girls on the bed, their beautiful long black hair and similar, striking looks, one older and one younger. A flicker of disdain crossed her eyes.
They were sisters too!
"There is no misunderstanding."
Leng Qing was unapproachable, her pretty face icy cold. She pulled a small notebook and pen from the pocket of her pert backside, placed them on her chest, and with a click, the ballpoint tip popped out.
"Name, gender, age, phone number, where you live. Speak one by one."
Mu Nujiao knitted her brows. "Sister, you've truly misunderstood."
Mu Nuxin: "Yes, yes! We are disciples of the Mu Family, and this is our cousin. He just returned from abroad, and we were planning to find a place to rent together. We didn't find a suitable one today, so we're just resting at the hotel for a night. It's really not what you think."
Mu Nuxin's face flushed slightly. "We haven't done anything."
Leng Qing's pupils trembled.
Family disciples?
Was the Mu Family this open?
Not only sisters, but also from the same clan. She just didn't know if they were closely related or distant relatives separated by eight hundred generations, with only the title of brother and sister.
"Do young people nowadays like seeking thrills so much?"
Leng Qing's face felt hot. What a taboo game.
She took a deep breath.
"Since you are Mu Family disciples, I won't investigate you if you can prove your identity."
Mu Ningwei yawned and perked up. "I can give you the family head's phone number."
Leng Qing jotted down the number and stuffed the notebook and pen back into the pocket of her pert, black-stocking-clad hip, taking a sharp breath.
So bold, sleeping with the sisters and then daring to call the family head? When did the noble circles become this chaotic?
"Since that's the case, I'll be going. Remember, young people should exercise restraint—no, young people should be rational. Don't bury your future for a moment of excitement!"
Leng Qing turned to leave, leaving behind a blushing Mu Nuxin and a somewhat displeased Mu Nujiao.
After all, being disturbed from sleep late at night could easily lead to morning grumpiness.
"Wait, Miss Judgment Association."
Mu Ningwei lifted the covers. All three were fully clothed, though their clothes were a bit disheveled.
Leng Qing realized she might have truly misunderstood.
"I apologize for disturbing your rest as siblings, but please do this in your own home in the future."
Mu Nuxin's face turned even redder.
Mu Nujiao was speechless. "I think your mind is impure."
Mu Ningwei put on his flip-flops. "Prostitution crackdowns don't require Judgment Association members, and you're too easygoing. You're acting more like you're pretending to be a prostitution crackdown while actually investigating the hotel's situation."
"If I'm not mistaken, you're looking for the vampire upstairs, aren't you?"
Leng Qing's eyes sharpened. "That vampire is upstairs! How did you know?"
The Mu sisters: "Huh? Vampire!"
Mu Ningwei waved his hand. "Europe is where vampires are most common. I've dealt with them quite a bit before and can detect that scent of rotten blood."
"Enough talk, let's go catch the vampire first."
Stomp, stomp, stomp.
Mu Ningwei, in his flip-flops, rubbed his eyes, a dark gleam flashing within them.
Leng Qing quickly followed.
"Brother Ningwei, wait for us!" The twin sisters quickly put on their shoes.
Mu Nujiao, in particular, was extremely excited upon hearing they were going to fight a vampire and rushed over eagerly.
A dozen seconds later, they arrived upstairs via the stairs.
Mu Ningwei gestured with his eyes, and Leng Qing raised her slender, agile, long legs and kicked the door open with a bang.
"Radiance."
Mu Ningwei lit up a soft white light, illuminating the room.
The Mu sisters also rushed over at this time, standing at the doorway and watching curiously.
Leng Qing originally wanted to scold the Mu sisters for getting too close, as they might be in danger if a fight broke out. However, before she could speak, she was stunned by the scene before her.
A man with a delicate appearance and pale face was bound to a pitch-black cross.
Dark threads tightly bound him, forming a firm, shell-like bulge in his flesh, as if a slight exertion would slice him into countless small squares.
What Leng Qing found strange was that despite being restrained, the man's bulging eyes were filled with fanatical devotion.
As if he had seen the true god of his faith, or perhaps his will had been twisted, he panted excitedly, looking up at the ceiling with immense excitement.
Crazy...
Leng Qing muttered inwardly. A beautiful woman with vacant eyes and a pale face sat on the messy bed.
Because her third element was the Mind element, Leng Qing could tell the woman had been charmed and controlled by the vampire, but was otherwise unharmed.
Fortunately, the vampire hadn't had time to commit any further atrocities.
"Brother Ningwei is so amazing!"
Mu Nuxin grabbed the hem of Mu Ningwei's clothes with both hands, little stars shining from her adoring eyes.
"Has Brother Ningwei already dealt with it?"
Mu Nujiao sounded a little disappointed.
Leng Qing examined the dark cross and threads. Under Radiance, this shadow magic was still present; was it a special shadow substance?
"Thank you for your help, Mu Ningwei."
Mu Ningwei waved his hand. "Just a small fry who just entered the Battle General level."
Leng Qing sighed. "You look only a little over twenty, yet you already possess such strength."
"Brother Ningwei is a Silver Moon Knight at the Parthenon!"
Mu Nuxin boasted.
I have such a handsome and strong brother, do you?
"Silver Moon Knight?"
Leng Qing was genuinely surprised. Every Silver Moon Knight was at least a powerful expert in the high-tier!
A flicker of unnaturalness crossed Mu Ningwei's face. "That was in the past. I'm just an ordinary person now."
Leng Qing couldn't help but ask the question in her heart. "You discovered the vampire beforehand, why didn't you act, or notify the Judgment Association? Also, why was this vampire making such a... strange expression?"
"In Europe, not all Blood Clan members are evil. Many legitimate Blood Clan members live among humans. I wouldn't deliberately hunt down a Blood Clan member."
"Before you appeared, I didn't know this vampire was a criminal. After all, he appeared so brazenly; I thought he was a legitimate Blood Clan member."
Who knew it was because you couldn't catch him that he became so arrogant.
"As for his expression."
Mu Ningwei said casually, "This magic item of mine, the Dark Cross, has been stained with the essence blood of a Blood Clan Marquis—a Monarch-level Blood Clan member. He was probably overcome with emotion, perhaps thinking of his ancestors."
"Monarch-level!?" The three women exclaimed.
