West City lay in ruins.
Terrifying explosions echoed from afar, and Bulma stared intently in their direction.
Her son was fighting the androids.
"Go, Trunks!"
Bulma was extremely nervous.
After a while, the explosions stopped, and the shockwaves reaching this area gradually subsided.
"Is the battle over?"
After a while, Bulma slowly stepped out of the dim corner.
A handsome young man flew toward her.
Bulma was overjoyed, a heartfelt smile appearing on her face.
"He won!"
"He really won!"
"After more than ten years, the androids have finally been destroyed!"
The moment she saw Trunks, Bulma knew that her son had won the battle.
The joy rushed straight to her head, and Bulma actually felt a little dizzy. The surprise had come too suddenly!
"Mom, I'm back!"
Trunks spotted the muscular woman on the ground and shouted excitedly.
"Trunks!" Bulma stared fixedly at her son, and the last trace of worry in her eyes finally vanished.
"Tap, tap, tap!"
Trunks landed on the ground, rushed over to his mother, and embraced her.
"Mom, I did it!"
"Trunks, you're amazing! I knew my son could do it!"
Noticing that Trunks's voice was a little choked up, Bulma patted his head.
She knew what her son had suffered over the years. Son Gohan's death in particular had hit him especially hard.
Son Gohan had been like an older brother to him, yet he had fallen right before Trunks's eyes.
It was pain that would last a lifetime!
Trunks hated himself. He hated that he had been unable to transform into a Super Saiyan, hated that he had been unable to help Son Gohan!
Bulma knew all of this!
Now, the battle was finally over!
