Gaino Emerges

Broly and the others had now emerged from their cultivation in the Time-Space Tunnel. Meanwhile, the scouts dispatched by Spirit Jade kept constant watch over the Demon Clan's movements.

Everything was ready; all they lacked was Gaino emerging from seclusion.

That day, everyone was waiting for Gaino to emerge from seclusion when Spirit Jade hurried anxiously before them.

Laiya noticed the grave expression on Spirit Jade's face and asked, "Spirit Jade, what has made you look so serious?"

Spirit Jade replied, "Reporting to Madam. The scouts report that Demon King Jacob has assembled the Demon Clan army and begun slaughtering the other races in the Death Wasteland. Led by the Four Great Demon Lords, they have split into four forces to carry out extermination campaigns in all directions of the Death Wasteland."

The Demon Clan army is already advancing toward us. By my estimate, they will reach our Flame Cave Residence in around ten days.

"Ten days!"

Hearing Spirit Jade's estimate, everyone was utterly shocked.

"Ten days is indeed a very tight timeframe," Laiya said.

"Who knows when Brother Gaino will emerge from seclusion? It seems we can no longer wait blindly like this."

Broly said, "Sister Laiya, rather than sit here and await death, we should take the initiative and strike first."

"No. Brother Gaino is still in seclusion. Tell me, among all of us, who has the strength to rival Demon King Jacob?"

At those words, everyone lowered their heads. They all knew that, aside from Gaino, Sku was the strongest among them. Yet even with Sku's formidable strength, he could not withstand a single move before Demon King Jacob. What chance did the others have?
